A Rescue Quilty
I had a PM today from my Lab boards I go to asking me to make a charity quilt for getting a dog for a special needs person.
I already have 2 PP blocks I collected for a rescue quilt that was cancelled at the last minute.
I was going to make a simple 4 block hanging but here is the kicker. The 2 blocks that were made by a lady on the boards made them in off sizes. If I were to make my two blocks the same sizes as hers and add sashings as needed to get the blocks square, would that just look funny?
I guess I could make pillows out of them but the contact lady asked for a quilt. She also seemed a little put off when I told her I needed a month to hand quilt it. LOL!
I would love to hear suggestions.

It sounds like it would be much easier and faster to start over with your own new blocks. JMO
Also, I just made a quilt and it needed to be done quickly so I just tied it instead of hand quilting it. I know you are probably trying to get a higher price out of it so that may not work for you but tied quilts are still quite lovely.
Good luck and try not to stress over it as it will make it no fun to make."Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibity."

I ended up using a quilt table runner top I had already pieced. It is sandwiched and ready for quilting. I will be doing the quilting in a dog bone design.
