Question What are you currently working on?

I am making a quillow for my friend's mother. She just found out that she has cancer, and I want to make something special for her to let her know that people care and are thinking about her. It is pretty much my first project (I have another one that I started and haven't finished). I can't wait to post a picture of it when I'm finished.

What a great thing you're doing for your friend's mom!

My projects have been put aside right now. I've had too much going on with preschool coming up and planning homeschooling lessons (and trying to figure out shorter lessons for preschool days).

I'm working on a scrappy Log cabin with a star in the middle, quite different than most Log cabins. Its a Christmas gift for a friend who went through a very nasty divorce and then built her own log home. I think the quilt will go well with her home.

I'm also hand quilting a queen size quilt for my dd's music teacher. She is paying me for doing it. Going slowly but I love hand quilting.

I'm in between projects right now. I just finished a log cabin quillow. I enjoyed doing the log cabin pattern. I may make a wall hanging in log cabin for my house. I really would like to decorate with quilts.
