Talking I did it! My first quilting project!
I can't even tell you how proud I am that I made this...and in a week to boot. This is a quillow (lap quilt that folds into a pillow) that I made for my friend's mother who was just diagnosed with cancer. Please forgive the cruddy quality of the pictures...I will try to get a better one tomorrow.

Hi Guys

Yes, I did it in a week with some help from my experienced quilter-mom. I did very little else but make that quilt! I got home Sat. night, so I haven't had a chance to give it to her yet. I'll keep you posted

Thanks Michelle. Unfortunately, my friend's mother passed away before I was able to give it to her I gave it to my friend though, and she was deeply touched.
