Is anyone quilting this month?
I am working on my Grandmother's Flower Garden. It is my work in progress. I am completely hand piecing it using the English paper method. I just work on when ever I am in the mood, it is portable and I just keep my papers in a ziplock baggie and the material in another baggie and do a few while I am watching television. It will take me year to finish it but when I do I will have a huge sense of accomplishment. Is anyone else quilting this month? If so what are you working on?

I am and every single day. I'm working on baby quilts for charity. I have 6 tops finished and will start the quilting of them this weekend. It doesn't take long to quilt them. I'm also ready to pin a couple of large quilts tops to start hand quilting them.

I was working on table runners for Christmas gifts, but we got crazy busy at work, so that's not going to happen. I'll probably work on them after christmas for next year's gifts!! I miss sewing and quilting, it is very relaxing!

I still hand quilt and have been working on making candle mats. I love to quilt, especially in the winter. I love the warmth that the material gives on a cold snowy winter evening...blessings...nwmissourigal

~After I finish up on an apron I started, I'm moving onto assembling pieced blocks for a twin quilt top. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna machine quilt it. I love hand quilting, but I think the machine quilting will hold up better through frequent washings.~

I am considering quilting a wallhanging for my brother for Christmas. It's nothing that's even pieced...it's just about 1 yd of fabric (it mountain biking print, which he loves to do) that I want to do free motion quilting (if I can get the hang of it) and then bind it. He works from home, and I bet he'd love to have it for his office.
I'm doing far more sewing these days than quilting.
