I'm falling in love
With the colors blue and yellow combined. I did my kitchen in blue with a bit of yellow and really like it.
Then yesterday while at the library I seen the most beautiful quilt, done in dark blues and yellows. Just a simple pattern and yet it was stunning. I'm determined my next quilt (I make for me) is going to be in blues and yellows. That will be awhile though because I need to use up the material I have first. Will see though how long it is before I make one.
Anyone else like the colors blue and yellow together in a quilt?

My bedroom is blue, yellow and white, with the blue being dominant and the yellow for an accent. The bathroom is the same colours, with white being dominant. We are starting our kitchen now and it will be yellow with blue accents. I love these colours!!!!!

I love blues and yellows. My bedroom and bathroom are done in blues and yellows. There are blues and yellows all thru my house. Well, except for the study and the girls' bedrooms. They decorated their own rooms.

I think blue and yellow are very pretty, too. I read a decorating book once, and the lady who wrote it said every room should have an accent of yellow somewhere.
Nuisance26, you're quilt is really pretty. You did a great job.

I love those color combinations. Someday I may make one in those colors when I get some of my unfinished projects completed.

My whole house is navy, yellow and white with some very pale ice blue on a couple of walls. I have always, always loved this colour combination and I never get sick of it.

My aunt out in B.C. has a blue and yellow family room/kitchen combination. My mom bought a quilt kit in Moosomin SK at Shirleys sewing room that had those colors, the fabric had tea cups and plates as the theme. I found a really cute baby quilt top in those colors as well and added prairie points around the edge, it was perfect for my nieces room, yellow and blue!

Sue I got to Shirley's sewing room often. It's not far from us. It's a great place to buy quilting material.
