Question Have you used quilting for any other sewing projects

Have you made quilted vests, quilted table placemats or even a quilted tablecloth. Have you made anything besides quilts, using quilting in the sewing project.

I'm going to be doing making some placemats and a tablecloth to match. I've already made numerous pot holders with sample blocks that I often make before starting a project to see how its going to work.

How about you?

I'd like to make some pot holders and a table runner.

My mil uses her quilt fronts for table cloths at craft shows. Sil makew wall hangings by leaving the top border open on 2 sides, inserting a dowel and using curled wire or other for hanging. I'm thinking about making a quilt thing for dd's Christmas stocking.
