    Question Basting pins?

    Curious about basting pins - which are better? The ones I have are brass and are 1 1/16-inch in size. Should I have gotten larger ones?

    That is the size that I use Kahana. I always use that size. Also remember that once you quilt is in the hoop to take those pins out. Also when you place your quilt in the hoop, push down just a bit on the top to give you a bit more leeway to move your needle.
