Question Calling all quilters - hop on board the fat quarter train - anyone interested?

Okay there have got to be a few quilters here, a couple I know for sure. Are you interested on hopping on board a fat quarter train.

It will be fun. Just so you know it won't cost a lot, we only do 5 fat quarters.

Anyone interested, please sign in and pick up your tickets. The train will be leaving around the middle of Sept. hopefully!!!

    Hi Eileen

This is how it works. Carolyn Joan will put a list together of the names and addresses of people on the train. Then each person mails 5 fat quarters (these are the 1/4 yd pieces that are cut from the bolt width wise rather than the usual way you buy fabric) to their recipient. Then the FQ's go to the next person and so on nd so on. They are $1.29 each at Joann's. It's really a lot of fun, and we can do theme ones too.

Carolyn please let me know if I missed anything in the description of this. Eileen, let me know if you have any questions.

Sign me up! I'd love to join the train.

Michelle, thanks. Nope you didn't miss much. I always have a theme and I have a theme in mind, but I'm not saying just yet.

You do not know who will be sending the fat quarters to you and no one but myself and you of course will know who your sending your fat quarters too.

You do not send your fq out until you get yours. BTW - in case anyone doesn't know what fat quarters are - they are 100% cotton cut to 18 x 22 inches and all quilters drool over them and love them to help with their quilting projects.

So what will happen is I will send fat quarters to someone. Once that person gets theirs, they then send their fat quarters that they purchased to the next person and on it goes. They keep the fat quarters that they recieved in the mail.

It really is fun and the theme I have picked out is a riot.

I'm going to sit this one out, but I really appreciate you putting this together. I've had a blast participating in these with you before.
