I'm very sentimental. To the point where it's really just kind of ridiculous. I have a 5yo and a 3yo and I already have boxes full of their clothes that I've kept.

I came across the idea of taking old clothes and using them to make a quilt. I love that idea, so I decided I want to make a crazy quilt out of them. I read a book when I was growing up about a girl who made a crazy quilt out of some of her family's favorite clothes, and it's always stuck with me. It wasn't the embellished crazy quilt style that I've read about. It was just ordinary fabrics.

I don't really want to keep too much of the extra fabric (trying to cut down on the boxes in the garage) other than a few pieces to work in as solids for color.

I hate wasting the fabric. Would fabric scraps like t-shirt material that hasn't been cut into squares yet (basically hacked up t-shirts) be something that people here might want? I was thinking I could just post a message and a picture of the lot here when I got a bunch and offer to send it to the first one who wanted to grab it.

What do you guys think?
