Finished quilt for FIL and pillows for BIL's

All i gotta do now is re-iron the binding, and maybe add some decorative stitching to the binding to hold it flat. I really really don't like the way it looks like it is twisting.

I am so jealous, I wish I had better skills. I tried to sew a purse and screwed it up. I really want to be a quilter but I have to work up to it.

In case anyone's wondering, it's almost all recycled materials. The blue jeans are ones that were too worn out to use, ('cept about 1 yd, i had to go buy because i was short), and the colorful squares are shirts that once belonged to MIL. I made her sons matching pillows to FIL's quilt shown here.

Missy, the quilt is very beautiful and I know your FIL will love it! The others will love their pillows too. What a great idea to use MIL's blouses as a remembrance for all of them. You did a great job on the quilt!

Great job Missy. I just love to see how creative we all are whether it is sewing or baking. You were really frugal in the fabrics. Just love it.
