Wink Does anyone make miniature quilts?

I have seen some really beautiful miniature quilts for sale on e-bay made entirely from vintage fabrics. They are awesome! Has anyone ever made a miniature, and if so, any tips to pass along?

I read an article in a quilting magazine once where a lady only makes mini quilts now. She said that she loved so many patterns and she figured that she wouldn't be able to make them all full size in her life time so she started on the mini quilt quest and has made SO many of them!! Very interesting article.

I want to make at least one in my lifetime. Its not something though that is pressing right now to do.

I have seen a few done and I had a huge book on just miniature quilts, but I gave it away, knowing I would be doing too many of them.

I haven't made any yet, but I want to at some point. They're so cute...the tiny pieces scare me though LOL

I have a book I picked for 50 centa up at a used book sale on miniatures. It's called Working in Miniature by Becky Schaefer. You'd want to use small scale prints. Also you would probably want to do paper piecing to get accurate points. I want to make one someday.

I have a book called"Little Quilts throughout the house". It's a wonderful book and I've made several of their little quilts. It's the kind I like to make most.
