Rebates anyone?

I relly only do the Walgreens rebate because you can do it online. I was never able to keep track, just too much work.

I just got $44 worth of rebates ready to send in.
$5 menards
$10 diet pepsi
$9 walgreens
$20 Ace hardware
and a post free cereal coupon rebate

I used to do tons of rebates. But now with the price of postage and gas I have slowed way down.
I used to do all of the TMF rebates (made money because usually had a coupon to go with it) but then I had lots of stuff that I did not need. Now I just do stuff that I know we will use or products that I would like to try.

I have done a few mail in rebates - just higher value ones like the $12.99 Sambucol one. I got burned at Circuit City, so I am reluctant to spend much time on these. Finally got some of the $$ from Circuit City, but it really was a tremendous amount of work to do so.

I just started doing rebates again, wish wags was closer but I just can't get over there but every couple of months.

I have a local Rite Aid and Walgreens, so I usually do both of them every month. I also do Staples rebates too.

The only other ones I do are ones found in the Sunday paper, or Try-Me-Free rebates attahced to products in a store. I typically only buy what we would use anyway. I usually make sure that I get back $2 or more.

And just today I got an oil change. I upgraded to SUV oil for $14. I am going to send for a $10 rebate. This oil is supposed to make me get better gas mileage. I told the technician I was holding him to it!

So, even though I am a member of Refund Cents, I don't hunt down rebate forms. I simply respond to those that cross my path!
