Nobody's kidding...Iams is NOT a good food. Stick with what you like, but in the end, your pets will suffer. In this age of technology, do your pets a favor, do some research on real quality food, i.e. Sold Gold, Taste of the Wild, Wysong, Wellness, not what TV leads you to believe is Premium dog food, or what's easiest for you to grab at Walmart. Iams is the "junk food" for dogs - if you can not pronounce 3/4 of a pet food's ingredients, uh, maybe you shouldn't feed it.

I feed a raw diet to my dogs three days a week; the rest of the week, I do feed Iams Mini Chunks, and I disagree that it's bad food. We have large dogs in a breed not known for its longevity, but the group has lived 17 years, 14 years, and 13 years, all on this diet. No allergies. No health issues. I think that proves that it's not something that will harm your dog. Just because a kibble costs more, doesn't mean it's all that much better. Anyway, Khaski, thank you for the coupon/rebate information.

Thanks for the heads up, like OOwl we supplement with raw and our dogs are in fabulous health because of it. I wouldn't feed just the IAMS or similar, but with what we add in, we're good.
