Age Differences in Relationships?
How far apart in age are you and your SO?
I was divorced a while back and as I got back into the dating scene, I find myself attracted to mostly older men. I'm 46 and about 55+ is what I seem to be attracted to. The men closer to my age seem to be living some kind of second childhood or something or, they don't know anything about history, or like to read or really appreciate life. So right now, the guy I'm interested in is 59. When I mention references to The Great Depression or WWII, or even the energy crisis of the 70's, the 40somethings really have no clue......maybe I was born in the wrong time!!
So anyway, I just became curious about age differences!:-)
Thanks!
Jeannie

I've always been with guys who are a year above or below me in age. I do find myself attracted to guys either eight years younger than me (in their early 20s) or quite a bit older (guys in their late 40s/early 50s). My first DH was a year older than me, this DH is a year and a half older than me. I've been with guys who were born the same day I was, and alot of them had birthdays in the same month. It's odd.

Yeah, that was an odd one! My dh is 7 years older than I am. It's perfect. I'm 45 and he's 52
We've been together since I was 19 and he was 26. Much prefer it that way...

Age is just a number it's the heart that counts. Good Luck in the dating scene.

Dh is 14 years older than I am. I am now 50 and he is 64. In a few months we'll be married for 23 years. Age means nothing, you love who you love.
Never underestimate the power of frugality!

I'm 40 and my hubby will turn 50 in September. My mom is 61 and her hubby is 47! So, yes, my stepdad is younger than my husband! LOL! We crack up at this- but it works!

I am 35 and my DH is 45. I agree that ages doesnt mean a thing, you cant help you love or are attracted to.
2ndly on the dating.... you cant generalize all men at a certain age, some are more mature and ready to settle down at different ages and some are not.

Thanks!
You're right.....love is love.
Some people have said to me that they worry that they'd be young(relatively) and taking care of someone possibly for many, many years. I guess my thought is that if you love them you'd want to do it and you'd figure it all out!!
Thanks again!
