Ashley- As a woman who thought she had the perfect marriage I will tell you that even I have come to realize the importance of self sufficiency. No matter what kind of marriage you have , good bad or indifferent the best thing you can do for that marriage is take care of you.
Follow in my footsteps and get a plan. Get your drivers license, find a free education and get some marketable skills. Get your own bank account even if you can only deposit a dollar a month. Just having that bank account will go along way to establishing your independence.
