I'm Engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got our marriage license yesterday, so it's not like I didn't know it was coming
but he completely caught me off guard last night.
We were getting in bed, as usual, and we always fall asleep spooning. Once he's behind me I always link my fingers in his, but he wouldn't give me his hand. Well, it's because he was hiding the ring in it!!!!!!!! It was soooo sweet.
My ring is beautious, and decidedly not frugal. I'll forgive him this time!

Congratulations. I, too, am engaged (getting married 9/1/08 in Jamaica) so I completely understand your excitement. Good luck planning your dream wedding.

Hubby and I eloped
Was just MUCH easier with our families, lol. In fact our wedding meal was biggie french fries and ice teas at Wendys We drove to a small town where his childhood minister had a church and tied the knot, the minister started the ceremony in his office, stopped, said "this isn't right, c'mon" and hauled us to the sanctuary All to ourselves, it was beautiful and we'd never do it any other way!
