Answered prayers and praise reports for Sept.

I thought we'd also do a thread where we could post answered prayers and praise reports for the month of Sept. So many times we only ask, forgetting to be thankful when they are answered.

Answered prayer here is:

~ that my mom is recovering nicely from major surgery.
~ dh's work situation has improved tremendously!!

Another good one Cj!

My answered prayers lately have been:

~Dd#2's safe trip to and home again from seeing her brother.
~Dh's improved health.
~Peace and faith re: a particular personal situation.
~Cj's mother's recovery.
~The recovery a dear friend from cancer.

It's wonderful to see this is writing. I think I'll start an answered prayer journal to track these. Thanks for the idea Cj. You're awesome.

Were doing a praise dance around our home ~ my mom is home from major surgery!!!

Talking to her last night, I could tell she was so happy to be in her own little home. God is good!!

God has been gracious in so many way -
DD has a good teacher at school
She is settled into her classroom and its routine
Her homework is do able
Getting her to school and home again are working out great
She and I are healthy

That so many of our prayers are answered! I am thankful my friend Connie (see prayer request sticky) was not hurt in a car accident today.

-- That my sister finally has seen the truth about her boyfriend and is getting away from him.
-- That the same sister cancelled a trip with said boyfriend, which I thought was honestly dangerous. (I was praying about this and she called me the very same night to tell me she'd cancelled!)
-- That my grandma's chemo was less severe this month and she only has one more treatment to go.

There were others, but those are the biggies!

I am thankful that the prauers for CJ's mom have been answered!
I am also thankful that mil is starting to show signs of recovery from her ordeal! Dh went over Friday and said she was up walking with her walker! Normally she is bundled up in her chair like she is freezing!
I am also thankful for the answered prayer of my oldest taking school more seriously and going for help when he needs it (now if he just would remember to tell me whne he is staying after...)

Praising God for such a life changing experiance with my mom and family....and for drawing me closer to him, I have been lost for so long!!!!....

There's so much praise to give to God! I don't even know where to start. First, I felt the Lord calling me to Fast and pray for a request I had made to Him. I have *never* fasted before. *I* simply didn't have the will power! God gave me the strength to fast and said yes to my prayer as well. (He always answers, whether it's yes, no or later)
I had been praying for a loved one to return to church and they did.

I had been praying for a family matter and God sure came through on that ,too. God is so good!!! I had always read in the Bible that you can ask Jesus for *anything* and He will do it, if you abide in Him and His word abides in you. This is so true! I would encourage any of you who are in need to pray earnestly and just wait for God to speak to you, it's a wonderful experience.

Thanking him for blessing me with a sweet little child, a wonderful husband, a great family and for keeping all those healthy. I have been blessed in so many ways and am so thankful for those blessings.

I continue to keep my village buddies in my thoughts and prayers.

Praising God for so many things!!!!
-For making it possible for my husband and I to get away alone together and stay at a beautiful hotel at a discount rate and get some much needed rest.
-For leading us to great deals on things that we needed and gifts for Christmas.
-For HIS undying love and faithfulness to us.
-For our continued good health.
-For our friends that are going through crisis situations being blessed and provided for.
-For free tickets to the WSU football game this weekend!!! Go Cougs!!!!

-For God leading us to a church where we could heal and are now becoming a part of.
-For an abundant garden this year!
-For all our friends and family that have enriched our lives so much!
