Such pretty colors in that salad.

When you say "1 pkg of dry italian seasoning", do you mean dry dressing mix like Good Seasons? I'm 99.9% positive thats what you mean but wanted to clarify.
Thanks!~*Darlene*~

Is there a substitute for 'dry Italian seasoning mix'? Can I use reg Italian salad dressing instead?

Dry Italian seasoning is just plain Italian seasoning. You can find it in the spice aisle.

I'm confused b/c the recipe lists it as '1 pkt' so I'm thinking of a Club House powdered dip/dressing flavouring where you add sour cream or oil/water etc depending on which one you buy.

I imagine that you can find a measurement conversion somewheres online. It's like the recipes that break down the packet into ingredient sizes (like I can either get the Sloppy Joes packet or measure out the onion flakes, paprika, celery seed, etc.).

Sorry about the confusion. I used 1 Pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing. I like the taste better than the bottled because I can choose my own type of oil and I like rice vinegar better than white vinegar, but bottled would be ok too.
