ISO pedometer
Hi all! I am searching for a pedometer. I am very interested in starting to track my movement throughout the day. I've been reading about the correlation between the steps you take and weight loss and general health. However, I can't seem to find one in any of the stores. So, I would like to trade or buy one.
If you have one that works and you are interested in trading or selling to me, please pm or e-mail me with your wishlist or price. Thanks! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Amy~ SpecialK has a refund offer on the box for a pedometer right now. Buy three specially marked packages & send in proofs to receive one. I'm saving to get myself one. HTH!

They give pedometers away with boxes of cereal here. There a big push for everyone to walk 10,000 steps every day. That's what people used to walk in a day but now we manage around 3,000 - 4,000!

I've borrowed my father-in-laws for the day to make sure I'll really use one when I get it. I've had it on since 12:30 and it's now 3:12. So far, I've logged 2,665 steps.
However, I can't help but wonder (I'm a total overanalyzer) whether or not my step count is accurate because perhaps I'm taking more steps so my total is higher. Although, that's a good thing because it is motivating me to walk more, but not necessarily a true test of how much I walk on any given Sunday.
Still, I want one of my own.

Amy, I don't have an extra one, but I did see a display of them today in Walmart, they had some over near the vitamins and then a few different kinds over in the sporting goods dept. They were $3.96 and up. Also, I noticed Target has quite a few of them too, more expensive than Walmart. I have a cheap one and it works fine for me!

Amy, If you end up liking your fil's, would you mind letting me know what make it is? I'm looking to get a new one. The one I have isn't accurate and it drives me batty. It counted steps when it was just sitting on the counter!Originally posted by AmyBoz

Amy, I saw the pedometers Gina mentioned tonight in the check-out line at my SuperWalMart & thought of you. They were $3.98 here.
