Great Good Food Lucious Lower Fat Cooking by Julie Rosso- this is a great read- http://search.barnesandnoble.com/bo...517881225&itm=6
Is this book still available or sold already I forgot to list it while copy/paste the others, then had PC problems (slow, not getting sent) & DH got home. Not a big deal if it's sold I'll still buy the others. Just give me the TOTAL Please

I sent you a PM but got a message box is full! So I'm not sure if you got the PM?

My computer's running slow & I can't log into my Gmail account this happened yesterday too while I tried replying a few times then finally saw it got sent but some of my message wasn't there.

I subscribed to Taste Of Home quite a few years ago somehow I never found the needle in each issue while reading it. I loved there recipes & so did DH Mom she just got a sub. since the Brownies had a fundraiser she had to buy a few mags from her GD & she asked me what was the name of that cooking magazine you had? So it was funny seeing this books posted here for sale!

I have alot of cook books, maybe someday they'll all fit in my kitchen, now they are in the bookcase by my desktop PC.

    I love to cook!

Still two books left- will give them a little while longer before heading over to Yahoo Auctions.

(I realize these two books are more specific. Great books if you want to sell cakes to make a little extra money.)

    Ok!

I have this book may not be the same copyright since I bought this over a decade ago while shopping @ PATHMARK I bought this cook book it has a listed price of $25.00 on the front inside cover but I don't remember how much they sold it for since the plastic wrap had the original price & the sale price listed on it!

& The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cook Book (lots of pics & I was just learning how to cook) the same day!

I was looking for a recipe for buttercream icing so I bought the book. I was getting hungry looking @ all the yummy cakes in it also.

This was when DH & I weren't married yet but had a hang-out down the basement in his parent's house. We had a LR & Kitchen (small sized refridgerator w/the wood grain design on the outside to look like an old fashioned fridge), bought it @ SEARS the box just about fit in the HYUNDAI. I didn't have my Chrysler Laser hatchback then only the VW Bug semi-automatic John bought me & taught me how to drive. Then the next year I got my new Laser.

Well anyway I can't remember why I needed that type of icing? Unless it was for the Valentine's Day Dinner I made that year a heart-shaped cake.

Since then I've made a few good recipes when we moved to Bayville w/his friend everyone loved carrot & pumpkin type cakes. II baked all the time w/my new Kitchen Aid mixer. Especially for Holidays!

I still have a few pages bookmarked w/those plastic tabbed bookmarks

Page # 71 Pumpkin Walnut Ring

Page # 75 Golden Wheat Carrot Ring

    Page # 228 Classic Buttercream

I use it every so often now but I scan the recipes I'm going to bake into my printer then print out a copy & put it in a plastic page protecter sleeve to hang up on the cabinet door so it's outta my way!

I have a Czechoslovakian cookbook that is really falling apart from much family use @ Ma's house it was my Dad's & after he died of Cancer in 1999 that was the only thing I really asked for besides the Holy Bible my Dad & I always read together...since I always cooked w/him Ma said I could have it but my brother said no he wants it! So I borrowed it one day to copy some recipes for the Christmas Eve Holiday special dinner & really wanted to somehow put all these recipes on a site in Memory of my Dad. I wanted to buy my own copy of this cook book but never found one available. Never got to do that DH said no he doesn't want me to.
I returned the book so my brother could make the Traditional recipes for Christmas Eve dinner too before we got into more of an argument. It wasn't worth it all!

When my brother died in 2002 of cancer (that's why Ma lives w/us) I got the cookbook & the Holy Bible (which I found in my brother's room @ the foot of his bed in between newspaper piles the cover to the Bible was torn off & the curved outside edges were broken. It wasn't a normal book cover flat...it stuck out a few inches then curved. I was w/my Dad when we bought this @ our Church's book sale when I was in Catholic Elementary School.

Before I even had a PC I bought a used lap top style word processor w/a printer & started saving recipes on it...typing them all out, I'd type out envelopes for all my rebates & offers.

    Ohh no it's Ma's lunchtime....gotta go cook
