Seeing as its 60 [yes, 60!] degrees outside...I think I'll get dh to take me to Aldi's to do some stock-piling
Other than that I'm going to make dinner [I'm thinking Chicken Tortilla Soup & cheese quesadilla's] bathe my 2yo, making an appt with my midwife and hanging up some laundry. So far I've made lunch [nuggets and yogurt lol] and thats it since I cleaned before bed last night.Last edited by Ashie06; 02-07-2009 at 12:09 PM.

I am working on laundry, decluttering a cabinet or two in the kitchen, and then basically catching up here. In other words, it's a lazy do what I want kind of day.

I need to shower and start the day as it is now technically the afternoon
. I slept in until 10am which is very unlike me...and I've been on the computer ever since.
Today:
File paperwork on desk/pay bills
Dust the bedroom & Living room
Clean the bathroom sink, toilet, & floor
Vacuum our furniture
Go through our office closet and purge & organize
Go through the kitchen cupboards and purge (or save this task for next Saturday)
Clean the kitchen counters/cabinets/floor/fridge
Fold and put away laundry
Clip Coupons/Create weekly menu & list/ Grocery Shop
Dh has to wash the laundry, vacuum the carpets, and clean the shower. He is also helping with the office closet and kitchen purge. He is currently watching sports and working on his school work, so neither of us has started our weekend to do list yet.
I have a feeling these chores will be spread out over Saturday and Sunday to allow us time to relax and play Wii Bowling and watch a movie later today.

Today I have already gone to the library, checked in the DFIL at the hospital (doing better), washed the car and now I am sitting on the couch resting. Trying to beat this flu/cold and taking it as easy as possible today. Leftovers will be for dinner so no prep work. Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow morning feeling better.

*we went out for breakfast as usual
*then we bought a new fridge. won't be in till sometime next week cuz I wanted a black one
*checked on some cabinets while we were there because I'm getting rid of the kitchen table and putting in more cabinets and a counter
*went to Home Depot and checked their cabinets...what little they had. geesh what a waste of time, cept for the potty break LOL
*popped over to Circuit City for their sale and didn't find what I wanted. I want a Fax machine.
*stopped and got that ungrateful rabbit some more food and salt wheels. found some flavor wheels too for the critter. He seems to like them
*Came home and hubby's working on the shed for the pellets. we need someplace out of the carport to store them so we're building a shed for them. also when they're gone we can put a motorcycle in there and I want to put the old fridge in there to store produce like apples and potatoes. I can set it at a nice temp so they don't spoil that fast.
*and I've been trying to fix this computer. I've been told by a reliable source *wink* *wink*, that I may have a malware in registry! yikes! so I've been trying to find it to get rid of it. I may have to take this thing in to him and let him do it, but it'll have to be next weekend, or the end of the week maybe.
*and now I'm gonna fix some "fried" chicken in the oven and some baked beans and some succotash....nummers
*then I plan on watching a movie thats coming on tonite at 9pm and then hit the sack!
and thats been my saturday

We have been battling the stomach flu this week, so I was ready for some relaxing time without sickness!
*Slept until 9:30
*Gave DH a hair cut
*Saw him off to work
*Since the weather is so warm (64*) I cleaned out the storage room. It looks soooo much better!
*Cooked up some bacon before it went bad
*Organized my home keeping binder
*washed 3 loads of laundry, two are hanging outside
*Planted 8 tulip bulbs, hoping they will bloom inside
I may do some garden planning later tonight, but other than that, I'm just relaxing.
