Super Saturday

Super because it is not my Saturday to work!

The weather is supposed to be nice. I'm not yard saling today, just don't feel like it. I've been running all week.

Laundry catchup
go through papers/catalogs/magazines that have piled up
go to bank for DH
mail DH ebay package
make something for church dinner tonight
make bed
breakfast and lunch for girls
work on church cookbook

Tonight is our Harvest Home dinner at church. It's always a good time, the kids and I really enjoy it. Have a great Saturday!

More like Sedentary Saturday around here. Dd is getting over a cold, so I'm home with her while dh went out to breakfast with his Dad. When he gets home, I go teach an hour of piano lessons. Then, we've got absolutely no plans for the day. So, I'm also gonna keep my chores light for the day.

Have to:
put dirty dishes in dishwasher (was too tired after dinner last night)
do one load of laundry completely
dry Swiffer the floors
have dh change the vacuum cleaner bag (makes me sneeze!)
change the sheets on dd's and our bed

The three of us are down with colds, dh is still asleep and I am sharing breakfast with baby. Laundry to catch up on, scrapbook to work on and a nice roast for dinner, that is my plan for the day.

It's a rainy, sticky Saturday here. Where did the cool weather go?

All I need to do today is go by a Dollar store for gift wrap & then
wrap my brother's birthday present & prepare for mailing.

It's a good day to stay in!

Sleepy Saturday for me! DH and I didn't get up until 10:30am!!!!

I need to hurry up and get going. I have a baby shower to go to at noon (thank goodness the present is already wrapped)

I had hoped to do chores this morning, but I'll have to do them after the baby shower.

Raining here -

Guess I won't be wearing a sundress to the party! LOL

Snowing still here. has been since before i got up. building up now. 0% chance of precip too. figures. Had a busy morning, finished the snowman jar, worked on keikos afghan, sprayed rocks for the candle garden, started christmas cards, did some tarts and some soap, worked on baskets, now i have to clean house. what a day. oh and the dog is MIA. too can't find her anywhere. DAHHHHHHH is hunting hoping she went with him. who knows.

The rain has stopped at least for now but am still getting things done before I leave today.
I talked to my dad
got everything ready to go for my meeting
starting a class to learn Samoan

a friend came over to visit
folded a basket of towels
fed the cat
took out some hamburger
washed dishes
put dishes away
found a place to put my new pots & pans
cleaned the kitchen
made bed
cleaned up living room
checked email
took throw rugs outside & shook them off
put the rugs where they belong
got garbage ready to go out
found out why front screen door sticks
emailed a friend in Scotland
hoping to make it to the movies tonight, it's been awhile since I have been able to go out & have some fun

Well I had to work today. Sounds funny when I say it. But it went fine. I have dishes to do, clothes to fold, and something to cook for dinner (but not sure what yet). DD is painting some magnets she made but other than that we are taking it easy.

It's getting cold here, wind is blowing like crazy! I baked today, a cake and banana bread. Yum, Yum. Laundry night tonight at the laundry mat. Yea!

I have been on the run all day today, took the kids to Lowes Home Improvemrnt and they made Turkey napkin holders, they're cute and the kids had a ball making them !!!!!! Went to a couple yard sales, didn't get much...dd got some Cds for .25c each and was happy !

, I got 3 folding chairs for .25c... Need em for parties and dinners... I'll redo seats and paint, I will have 8, no 2 alike !!!! Heaven,

I am a single mom this weekend since DH is at class. I made pancakes and eggs for breakfast and then I took the boys to a friend's birthday party this morning then came home and made lunch. They cleaned their rooms (more or less) and took care of the dishes. I made a batch of stew that's bubbling in the Crock Pot and am doing the laundry. DSs watched a movie and actually let me read for awhile! They are fighting right now. DH will be home in an hour, thanks goodness!
