Saving Saturday 6/27

Lots and lots of laundry to do today (usually the teenagers do it, but they're at a HUGE swim meet today with DH)

Water my hanging baskets - we're in the middle of a stretch of 90 degree days ,and they dry out so FAST!

Working 2p-9p this evening, caring for the profoundly disabled DD of a friend - get to take MY DD with me to care for the younger siblings, as my employer does not allow me to do anything but care for my patient

Iron some clothes for tomorrow

Write and email a bio and workshop description to our state homeschool organization , I've been invitied to speak at our annual HS Mothers' Retreat this fall (I spoke at the first one 10 years ago, so I'm really excited)

Other than that, not too much going on!!

I have to teach 3 piano lessons today, starting at 9 am. My other two cancelled for today. I'm a little bummed about that, but since it's the first nice day in awhile, not too bummed.

Yesterday I did almost all of the laundry in the house, so today, I just have to put away the last two loads. Phewf!

It's our town's Family Day, where they have a whole bunch of low key rides and activities for the kids at Community Park. So, we'll probably take the kids to the pool, then head to Family Day. The kids have told us that they want to stay for the fireworks this year, which start at 9. Should be fun!

Other than that, just really puttering around and trying to find more ways to be frugal.

We have Karate Lessons this morning, then we are heading to the library, after that it's home to do some more cleaning and laundry, it looks like its going to rain so I don't know what else I may be able to accomplish today!
