Good morning everyone. I'm getting ready to go to work for the next 12 hours. I put the one load of clothes we have in the washer and it just finished. I plan to do absolutely nothing when I get home. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning, Gorgeous here but feels fallish. It is starting to warm up though. No solid plans but have school shopping and budgeting on the mind. Would like to get DD's checking acct. open so she can write checks at school.

    Default Sunny Saturday

It's Sunny here for a change. I'm thinking of going for a walk this morning and then washing bottles, loading the dishwasher, and maybe taking a nap after I feed Ds and have my own lunch. Dh will be home this afternoon from running an errand.

We plan to watch a movie after dinner tonight. I'm not sure which movie what we'll have for dinner yet though.

Today, my DH is going to fix our closet that fell and then I will put the clothes away and do some laundry. We are also headed to the Penneys so that DH can get some shirts for work that are on sale.
Other than that it should be a quiet day.

It's a beautiful day here today. I'm staying home all day today and doing stuff around the house. I've started laundry and am getting ready to go outside and do some weeding for a bit. I want to do a bit of meal planning with the sale papers and I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow. I have to really tighten my belt so I want to use what I have and just buy some filler items. I think I'll make some lentil soup today and freeze half for later use. I also think I'll make some peanut butter brownies.

Can I ask? What is crochet on the ugly blanket? Why are you doing all that work if its ugly?

I had to make something ugly once for someone (their choice)--SIL wanted an outfit she could take baby niece in to hockey games at their college. Trouble is, the college's colors were orange and brown. She wanted it orange/brown/white.

It was the ugliest thing I ever made for a little girl baby. Yuck. She never used it after all that work! It was a white jumpsuit w/ orange and brown detailing, and a little hooded overcoat in brown with orange and white detail. Double yuck. But I made it----and she never used it. I tried to tell her that those weren't going to be very pretty colors on a baby girl.

SIL also didn't offer money for yarn or work----and it was no easy project.

    Saturday, August 1st---

    It is raining and windy.
I have breakfast dishes piled up.
I am goofing aorund on the internet, drinking coffee.
Dinner is already in the crockpot, though.
I have eaten about 3 fistfulls of cherries, which I will be sorry for later.
I am on my 2nd load of laundry, but there won't be any hanging out today.
I am about to have a container of Greek yogurt to counteract the cherries........
It is 63 degrees at 2:30pm and is never in this lifetime going to reach the 74 they forecasted for today. I think those guys sit in the back room with taro cards. My apologies to anyone who is a meteorologist.

Well had a bunch of dishes to get done (was lazy yesterday) made two beds. Made a two loaves of wheat bread, 8 sandwhich buns (half whole wheat have white) put a roast with veggies in the oven for dinner later, took a nap. I am up and ready for round two of the day. I might go to walmart and the dollar general store.

I went thrifting with DH! He's usually not that "into" it, but he went along to humor me! We ate breakfast in a local cafe (cheaper than lunch and dinner) and set out.

The only thing I found was a butterfly-shaped cake pan.

I've already baked the cutest butterfly cake which I'm taking to a potluck tonight!

Hope everyone had a great Saving Sat.!
