    Default Saving Saturday August 15,2009

Well, I worked from 10 last night until 6am, and thought I'd get picnic items at the grocery on my way home. Ran into an old friend and former co-worker at the grocery, and ended up talking to her for almost half an hour!!! Made it hard to fall asleep when I got home, and then had to get up two hours later to make it to the bank before they closed.

    Soooo.......

I'm headed back to bed for a couple more hours of shut-eye then,

    Do some laundry

Fix some wrap sandwiches for the picnic

Stop by DD#1 house and give her a ride

Go to Conner Prairie (a local living history museum) and listen to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra play the music of QUEEN!!!! This is gonna be great (except it's about 90 outside!!) It's called Symphony on the Prairie and it is so much fun. Everyone brings a picnic, and you listen to great music as darkness falls. Fireworks, too, if I'm not mistaken ( I love fireworks!!!)

That sounds like alot of fun!
I slept in til 11am. That's really late for me! Got up to an empty house. DH and DS went somewhere and still aren't home so I'm taking the opportunity to do some deep cleaning.
Later my parents are coming over for our annual town firemans parade. My dad is a fireman and this is the first year in a long time that their town will be in it so it's gonna be really exciting for my son! He can't wait to see PaPa march with the trucks!

~Mary, your evening sounds like so much fun!
So far today all I've done is go to a yard sale. I got a suitcase, a purse, a car organizer, a coat and 15 articles of clothing for $5!
I'm just about to leave to pick up some groceries and exchange library books.
I have way too much planned for the weekend that I'm sure it can't possibly all get done. I'm going to try though!
    Happy Weekending everyone!~

I went to Family Dollar today to pickup some bleach. I was also able to find a dish pan for $1.50. And the best part is I found a tracfone on sale for $10, with carrying case, charger, ear phones, car chager, that will give me double minutes for the life of the phone. Yea!!

What a fun day so far!! Woke our two guests up early this morning, took them to McD's for breakfast and then on to their soccer coaches clinic. Now I am free for at least 5 hours!!

I did stop by to pick up ink - now both DH and I are set for awhile. Managed to bypass several yard sales - made me feel verys trong - even though I knew I could get some great bargains, figured I need to clear space more.

I need to do some paperwork and then make my list of 12 tiny things I need to do - see madhen's thread - great idea to clear up little stuff.

A nap sounds nice tooo....... Have a great Saturday!!
