    Default Saving Saturday 9/5

    Good morning all you early risers. I'm doing another 12 hour work day here. It is going to be another beautiful day and I'll be stuck inside a dungeon. I will be alone when I come home tonight. My hubby is going to an Easy Riders bike rally with some on his buds, yay a break for me too bad I have to work. Well I hope everyone enjoys today.

    Hubby is washing the Harley as we speak. We are going to one of the local Harley dealerships that is having an open house. Several of our Harley riding friends are going with us and others will be there. Free food, fun, looking at bikes and accessories, etc.

    I have leftover lasagna in the fridge. So I can warm it up for dinner after we get home all tired and sunburned.

    This dealership had an open house this past spring and we got flooded in for hours. So IF it even looks like rain, we will leave and come home. Last time it took us over 4 hours to travel less than 5 miles to get home.

    Happy Labor Day weekend to all

    Getting ready for the big BBQ tommorrow sent dh out to sams club shoprite and veggie stand for groceries I am afraid he may spend the whole Sept amount at once but at least we will be stocked up.

    Last minute cleaning and straightening of the house and back yard and deck as much as i hate seeing summer end I do love the fall and I am looking forward to it. I have been thinking alot about my dad today I remember how we used to sing together and the song Try to remember the kind of Sept. keeps running thru my mind It was one of his favorites. Just trying to stay upbeat and be thankful for the good memories Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday

    It's soccer Saturday - our AYSO season is starting - so lots off excitement on the fields and it's also picture day. DH has already left - I'm making breakfast for us and will leave shortly.

    Well, we started out our day by going to Best Buy and Barnes and Noble where the big kids bought things that they had been saving for. I was SUPER proud of them.

    Came home and blogged about it.

    Then, they've been playing with their purchases while dh and I chilled together.

    Tonight is the town's Block Party. They have rides and music and a free raffle for different things in town. We entered ourselves and the kids. We're hoping this might be the year we win SOMETHING!

    Not doing too much today went to the neighborhood farm stand got some corn on the cob and watermelon for tomorrow is our Labor Day picnic at dh's sisters house. Got some grapes and lettuce, carrots too. Went to the meat market for our weekly meat. This afternoon dh & I went for a bikeride around town which was nice.

    ~Had a nice date day with DH today! We dropped the kids off at my mom's house first thing in the morning, got coffee out(never do that!),stopped at a fabric shop, went to the Dollar Tree and picked out some goodies for the kids, had lunch at Cracker Barrel & picked out old timey candy for the big kids(me and DH!), then played a round of disc golf together before returning for the kids. Very fun!
    I've been busy doing some light housework since we've been back: two loads of laundry, veggie and fruit prep and cleaning.
    I'm feeling a little weird right now so DH is making me some peppermint tea. I'm probably just really tired! Hopefully the kids settle down soon.~
