Saving Saturday 11/21
Good morning girls and hopefully some of our guys will join us. I've been up since 6:30, wide awake and full of energy. It's amazing what going to bed at 8:30 on a Friday night does for an old lady.

I'm on my second cup of coffe, my second load of clothes. I did dishes, I said phtt to them last night. DH is still not home from work. We have plans to go shopping later. We both need new shoes, I need work boots and he needs tennis shoes. I think we will probably put this off until tomorrow, he will more than likely sleep most of the day. Hope everyone has a great day.

LOL Sassy! I did the same thing! I was in bed by 8:30, watched a little tv and dozed right off!
Sat and watched the last part of a good movie with DD21 this morning when she wandered downstairs early - nice!
Up and at 'em now, though. Going to grab a shower, DD21 is going to make a caramel apple cake, and then we're off to the family pizza party for DS18's last big family birthday party (18th b'day). Wish I could convince family to just come to my house for cake, much cheaper, but many of my relatives can't handle the steps to get into my house.
Going to be back at the house by 5 pm, hopefully. Need to work on job hunt for DD21 and Ebay listings. Also need to change DD21's address at the post office today.
Have a great day everyone!!

Morning all. The cats woke me up with their playing on and under the bed. That means they want to be fed. Of course everyone else is still sleeping.
We are going to work on the house today. Outside work mostly. Its supposed to be in the mid 50's so dh wants to get somemore wood cut and do a couple of other things
Now that the new heating system is in I am going to give the basement a good sweeping and putter around. I do need to run to the store to get something I forgot yesterday but other then that I think we are staying home today. Have a good day

I'm always the first one up. DGS wakes up and whomever is on baby-duty brings him to me. They go back to bed and I get to spend some one-on-one time with the little guy. Already put up dishes and switched out dishes in the dishwasher, made coffee and pineapple pancakes, put last load of wash into the dryer and checked emails.
I need to iron the clothes, clean my bathroom and make sure DD3 does her homework and the chores she skipped yesterday. If DH is up to it, we will go to the co-op to get eggs and pasta.Nana to Logan, Ryver, Robbie, Grant and Dennis

~We're having a lazy morning here. I'm about to get up and start some laundry and do some light housework though.
We're taking advantage of a beautiful day in South Jersey and going to the zoo this afternoon. As a special treat we'll be stopping at a candy store on the way home.

Good Morning! I was up early as well, let the dogs out, made some cinnamon rolls for breakfast, ironed some embroidery that needed to be mailed this morning, ironed a couple other items that I need to embroider today, tucked the dogs in for the day, now I'm at work. Whew! This afternoon when I get home I need to vacuum and get some more sewing and embroidery done. I'm just going to have soup for supper, something quick while I'm sewing. I'm staying home tomorrow and am looking forward to it already! Happy saturday!

GOOD MORNING! We are up, had breakfast and coffee, put Magnetite windows on all windows and now are trying to figure out how to replace the glass in one of the windows in the living room.
Our two younger dogs (Zeus & Betsy) have a habit of running across the room at break neck speed, jumping on the love seat and wrestling. The love seat backs up to two windows. We went out for a few hours last evening and came home to a broken window. None of the dogs were cut or bleeding and the broken glass pretty well stayed in the window (due to the adhesive used) or on the sill.
Luckily the window faces into the back yard and is under the patio cover. At 10 last night we were cleaning up glass, putting up cardboard and luckily we had the magnetite window to put on.
It is chilly and drizzly and supposed to clear off over the next couple of hours. Then we will see about replacing the glass.Mary

Good morning. I've been up for several hours. I made breakfast, washed dishes, made a salad for a dinner we're going to tonight. I still have some housework to do. I want to brush the dogs before I shower and get dressed. I hope everyone has a relaxing Saturday.

I was up at the crack of noon
(to be fair, I went to bed at 7:30am) and am currently working on my second cup of liquid motivation (black, two splendas)
DD#4 and DS are at a church convention out of town, so it's just DH and myself.
My desk / schoolroom is a disaster, so I'm planning to work on that most of the afternoon with the IU/Purdue Old Oaken Bucket game on in the background (Boiler up!)
We'' go to Indianapolis later and meet DD#1 for dinner somewhere, need to take an antique chair over to her house. She's spending Thanksgiving with DD#2 in North Carolina, and she's taking it to join it's mate there (the only two things that match in DD#2s apartment!)
Since it's one of my 'intentional sleep deprivation' days, I'll be hitting the sack early
Have a blessed day everyone!

Today should be fairly laid back around here. My Dh will be home all day today (a rare thing when married to a newspaper man). He is still sleeping, but he needs the rest.
So my list for today includes a couple loads of laundry and some dishes as well as prepping for Sunday School tomorrow which may mean a trip to the store (we are talking about bible time foods).
The rest of day should be filled with working on Christmas cards, knitting and/or crocheting.
We also need to figure out our Thanksgiving plans, but need to wait and see how one of the local football teams fairs this afternoon. We need know if they win where they will be playing so my DH can plan playoff coverage next week. Hopefully he will be able to take the weekend off.Julie

Watching college football.
