Saving Saturday 12/5
So far this morning I've-
Taken DS across the county to the site where he's currently laboring over his SAT test (this involved my first time to let him drive on I-65
)
Taken a load of stuff over to DD#1's house
Gone to the credit union - Santa was there and I lied to him and told him I'd been a good girl
Went to the restaurant supplier and purchased items for our church's outreach to single moms breakfast next Saturday
I still need to:
Take a shower
Pay bills
Start packing up some stuff for the move
Take DD#4 to swim lessons (she's the teacher, not the student)
Go look at three more houses with the realtor
Get stuff set up for the decorate the church party tonight
Decorate the church with a couple hundred of my closest friends

I should still be asleep this saving Saturday, but got a call that one of the student workers was sick (definitely legit with this one). They all know I stay up very late and hate to wake me, so she didn't call until around 8:20. We open at 9. Yikes! I flew. Geez, next time call a little earlier! (I did make it.)
Unsaving Saturday -- I grabbed some crackers and an apple to eat at the desk for breakfast, but there is no alternative to fast food for lunch.
On the bright side, if I make it through the day, I'll have the evening off since I have two workers tonight. A year ago it would have meant a 14 hour shift.Donna

Lets see. I ran an errand and the came back home. Dh has been in Atlanta all week and will be home in a few hours so I need to pick up the house.
I have supper going in the c.p ( meatball stew). Yummy
I dont think we are doing too much today as it sounds like dh had a rough week.

Today is our towns Christmas parade, so my DH and I are headed out to that this afternoon. We are also planning on getting our tree today. We may not get it into the house until later in the week, but if we get it today we can decorate it when we have the time.
I am also hoping to hang up some pictures on the walls. We moved here nearly 3 months ago and I still don't have everything up. It is driving me nuts.
I also have to plan my sunday school lesson for tomorrow and maybe do a little baking.Julie

Saving Saturday
Exceedingly freezing weather outdoors, so no outings today.
Enjoying looking out the windows at the gorgeous, thick hoarfrost on the trees while having the early morning cuppas.
Grateful for my heavy winter boots; have prayed that the Lord would help me find a lighter pair of winter boots at the TS, but nothing so far. However, don't really need them yet, since the weather is too cold for anything except felt-pack boots.
Will spend the day on Christmas preps: cards, gifts, coupon trade envie preps, whatever else comes up.
Will spend the weekend on paperwork/ office work preps, so December isn't so hectic.
Hope to bake a loaf or 2 of multi-grains bread this weekend, but I'm not promising.
Expect to consume a few hot chocolate drinks.
Will place my Christmas basket decorations around the house and on the front step.
Got my washing machine repaired 2 weeks ago; cost $150 and is working fine again. (Note to self: when in doubt about a broken- down appliance, consult a good repair technician, (not the ones that want to sell you a new appliance); and save yourself a lot of intensive, stressful manual labour, because in the end you will be worn out and will have to hire a repairperson anyway; so you could have saved yourself all that hard work, and you still have to spend money on repair costs regardless of your procrastination and burnout.)
Would like to launder kitchen and bathroom curtains ASAP. Having a working washer again is just wonderful!
Now have a new vacuum cleaner, though not satisfied with it; bought a HEPA filter type, bagless, and just clearing out the multiple filters every few minutes of vaccuming is dusty and annoying. Still, I now have a vacuum again.
Grateful for just being at home today, and attending to my little indoor chores with working appliances...and enjoying the day.

Knitting and more knitting...
I am soooo far behind on it.
I had to take a couple of aspirin last night for the achy arthritic hands! LOL!______

Well so far today..
28 degrees outside today, and snowing since early a.m. It's pretty!
DD21 and DS18 made a major mess of the house over the past 48 hours, and neglected to clean it up, so today is housecleaning.
DS18 is working, but he'll do his work later.
DD21 has cleaned off the coffee & end table & dusted them, vacuumed the living room and vacuumed the sofa (darn dog).
I've loaded, unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher. Cleaned off the stove with bleach spray.
Still to do today:
Clean off kitchen counters and wipe them down with bleach spray.
Clean out kitchen sink and clean with cleanser/bleach. (White sink, and DD21 left dishes soaking in it last night...ewww.)
Laundry.
Get at least 15-20 items listed on Ebay.
Just a note - say a little prayer for us, or keep a kind thought in mind. My faith is being severely tested by a major financial catastrophe this morning, and it has the capacity to really cause a lot of problems for me if we can't get it worked out. I have faith that God will provide a way through this, but I must admit to my stomach being in a knot over it.

Took a walk and stocked up on some triscuits on the way.
Then went on a tour and had a hot dog and free cookies on the tour.
Covered the plants on my balcony since it is snowing.
Place a piece of wrapping paper on the floor for my cat to play on. Will put it away before bedtime since it is very loud.
Need to go around and straighten up. Maybe work on the wreath for outside.
