Up with the baby at 5 a.m. Now I have all the kids up. Laundry is started. Ironing will be done this evening when wash is done. Did a great deal yesterday so today is a bit easier. Plan to focus mostly on getting Christmas decorations boxed and back out to the garage. Dinner is oven fried chicken, wild rice, corn.

I'm in for a long weary day. I worked until 11 last night, and I'm back at work at 9 this morning. One of the student workers had to attend a wedding today and there was no one to put in the slot but me. I'm also on -- hooray! -- tonight, so I'm here for 14 hours in a still almost abandoned library. It should be busier next week, but it's really boring right now. So my plans are:

    FV
The little actual work I have to do
    FV
    Poking around on the internet
    Lunch
    Poking around on the interet
    Reading
    Fast food supper
    Poking around on the internet
    Reading
    Go home at 11, crash

I also brought some crocheting for breaks, and if everyone is gone tonight -- the library has been empty by around 9 every night -- maybe at the desk.

All sustained by caffeine in its many embodiments.

Finally getting around to cleaning out the spare room and turning it into the nursery for our baby who's due to arrive next month. I am a great procrastinator, but in all honesty, baby will be sharing our room for a few months anyway.
Planning to use up leftovers for lunch and a planned dinner out as our reward for working hard in the spare room today.

So far have been a lazy day. Woke up, lounged around the house, watched some tv, had a nice breakky, surfed the web and am going to curl up a book on the couch with my huge mug of coffee

At some point today I was to go to my sisters...not sure if that's still on. If it is, means I'll have to get outta my comfy clothes LOL

Mmm...I can smell the coffee now, its almost done brewing - Foldgers Caramel Drizzle - YUM!

    Have a great day y'all!

    Good morning!
Today will be an expensive but hopefully fruitful day here! We are FINALLY getting our woodburning stove installed this morning! YAY! Hopefully the expense of the stove will offset our gas bill each month. If nothing else, it increased the value of my home here in the cold mountains of Montana...

So, I'm up, have laundry going, fed youngest dd and the dogs, and am getting ready to get dressed and mop the wood floors. DH also has a crew of buddies coming in this afternoon to help sheetrock the basement. So, I need to make sure the main floor is straightened up and bake something this afternoon for a snack for all of them.

Oh, and in the midst of all of this, I have 2 birthday parties to drag kids to today! And we live in a rural area where 9 times out of 10 you need 4 wheel drive to get to the party! Ugh.

    Have a great Saturday, all!

DH and I are having a lazy morning here with late breakfast. I actually think it's brunch at this point (11 am), which is kinda nice because it leaves me with only dinner to cook! We'll be having either tuna noodle casserole or chicken and dumplings with sweet tea this evening. I need to drag a green veggie out of the freezer, too.

My to-do list today includes laundry, dishes, general straightening up and eradication of DH's little "rat nests," (random assortments of receipts, check stubs, keys, business cards, etc, that he leaves on every flat surface), and of course, paperwork from my job. I might make a run to Goodwill, but that's iffy.

Today I taught two piano lessons, then sent dh to the grocery store. I've got laundry going and am gradually getting that don throughout the day.

Dd has a friend over and they are playing beautifully with the boys, so it's a pretty low maintenance day with the kids.

I baked a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies, which was good because the monkeys are building up quite an appetite.

I'm hoping to get dh to take down the tree today, but he's got the same cold that I do, so he may not get to it.

Making baked ziti for dinner and have a Netflix movie to watch tonight.

My wonderful son gave me his cold, so today is a slow day compared to most Saturdays. So far

    Slept in late
    Checked email
    Did dishes
    Folded load of laundry
    Another drying
    Cleaned kitchen counters

    Still have to do:
Pack 4-5 boxes for Afghanistan to mail Monday
Clean up table where I have been knitting every night
Order 5 skeins of yarn needed to finish customers sweater
    File paperwork on my desk
    Fix dinner
    Sweep R & DR floors
Post box of stuff on Freecycle

If I don't get dressed, I can't leave the house... if I can't leave the house I won't spend money ... yes, I call it the "Lazy-Bones Savings Plan"

Puttering around the house and doing the few things I need to do around here. I have a migraine, so I don't think I will be puttering long.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

None of us got out of our pajamas today! Even dh! It's 35 degrees, in Central Florida. I've got dinner (cabbage rolls) in the crockpot, laundry in the dryer, heat on. Not frugal at all.
