This morning, I taught five piano lessons.
Then, dd had two friends over, and they played (with both of my boys) outside for a long time, enjoying the beautiful weather!
Friends went home and the big kids are now playing on the Wii, dh is at the grocery store with ds2, and I'm finally getting back online. My laptop broke, and is out being fixed, so I haven't had a chance to check in for a few days. My Mom lent me hers, so I'm back!
We're having leftovers for dinner to clean out the last of last weeks meals, and I also plan on doing some laundry.
However, I'm taking today as a relaxer. We have a netflix movie to watch tonight, and I think we'll turn in early. My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Two football games today and a crafter's retreat weekend comgine to make it a perfect day for me!!
There's a lot of laundry to do from the preschool - all the quilts, towels, and pillos - Load #1 is in the washer already!!
DH made breakfast; I made coffee so we are energized to go.
I have all the raw materials ready to work on my Redwork while watching football!!
Before I settle in, I want to go through my books - I promised a friend at the pool that I would bring over some books for her. I am sure that others will take any that she leaves!! Win-win for everyone!!
Looks like a stay at home weekend for me - so far anyway!!
Hope you have a great Saturday!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Last night I was exhausted so we ate out after taekwondo. The best schwarma I've had in a long time and I didn't have to drive to the Bakaa Valley (Hezbollah territory) to get it.
So we went right to bed when we got home and slept in until after 9. It was sweet!
Scrambled eggs for the kids and worked on cleaning/organizing DS12's room. Ugh! Paused to go to produce shop and grocery store (produce shop costs a little bit more but they take good care of me, don't let me buy stuff that's not good), and then tackled the room again.
Found mold in the attic over my bedroom closet (due to living under garage and HEAVY rains) so DS12 climbed up and wiped it down with bleachy water. Moved stuff to other places. Not fun.
Watching a well-earned movie with DS12 then to bed.

I got to sleep in but woke up with a headache.
Nevertheless, I spent the morning cleaning out the microwave and doing a load of two of dishes. I also made us turkey bacon and scrambled eggs for brunch, plus homemade chocolate chunk cookies are in the oven at the moment.
Today's a lazy day, so we don't have too much to do.

It's raining here in Georgia. We had coupons for a free breakfast at a local resturant so we decided to use them this morning. I paid bills, put hand washed dishes away, emptied dishwasher, made the bed, took laundry down and put away the drycleaning. I still need to dust, iron and make dinner. I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

It was chilly and rainy this morning and now it is chilly and damp. Hubby started a fire in the fireplace just before lunch. I have been baking most of the day - bread, muffins, and breakfast bars.

Ran errands today. Also tried to get a bigger discount off of our dryer (Sears scratch & save however apparently the dryer we picked was already reduced to their every day low pricing and didn't qualify - boo!).
Made our way to the Crocs store to browse - HOLY MOTHER OF CROCS! lol. I didn't know they had that many styles....I was in serious Crocs overload. Sale was buy one get one free - any style. (Of course you pay for higher priced pair) Got a pair of slippers for me and bf *thumbs up*
Went out to an old diner style burger joint - delish! Of course we over ate b/c it was such a tasty treat and now looks like we're not having dinner and if so - something very light - salad or tea & toast lol.
Got home and ready to settle in to putter around and got the call our dryer arrived and we could pick it up so we headed back out to do so and popped in to pick up window washer fluid. I'd rather pay $2 now vs the $6 later on at the gas station plus there's a surplus now since we're having beautiful weather. As soon as the first snowflake hits, everyone will be scrambling for winter stuff again leaving the shelves empty in panic.
Only thing left to do this evening - relax, watch tv, curl up and read and possibly laundry if there's room on the drying rack (operating w/o a dryer here)2012: The Year Of The Purge!

Got up at 7:30 am. Took a shower and got right to it. It was dreary outside and I had planned on doing laundry and hanging it out to dry. Completely stripped the bed and got the laundry started and cleared the dining room table off to make way for a double canning session today. By the time the quilt was finished it had cleared up a bit but was too wet and heavy to put on the line so I put a sheet down and tossed it over the fence. Made a new recipe, Omelette Roll. Had a little trouble and took a little longer than I anticipated as I had to tweak it but it came out great. Got that all cleaned up and got 16 pints of beef in the Pressure Canner. Continued with laundry and got two more loads hung on the line. Then made 7+ #'s of homemade mini meatballs (210) and got them baked off in the oven, they are now in the freezer. The remaining 9#'s of beef was divided and packaged for the freezer. Got 2 pounds of sausage cooked and put in the freezer. Weather moved in so laundry had to come in and go in the dryer to finish. Cleaned out the fridge and top freezer somewhere in between all that and got another full canner going, 2 pints of the leftover beef and 14 pints of chicken breast and left the kitchen spotless. 7 pm now and I just turned the canner off as the chicken is done. Once the pressure goes down I can set them out to cool and I still have to make the bed. Once that's done I'm sure I'll climb right in. Been a long day but a productive one!
