Saving Saturday, September 17th
I wanted to share my beginners' epiphany with ya'll:
It occurred to me to make a list of things I can do in my spare time that don't cost money (or cost very little) rather than shopping. Here's what I've got so far:
1. Read a book
2. Walk the dog
3. Clean the house (what a concept)
4. Groom myself (polish nails, etc. - whatever's beyond the daily routine)
5. Work on gardening project
6. Knit
7. Look for babysitting gigs for times my son's w/his father
8. Teach myself to sew
9. Freecycle things we don't need anymoreApril 2012: needs, not wants!!
