Saving Saturday, 2/4/12

IT'S SATURDAY!!! Woo-hoo!!!!

And I'm enjoying a cup of Caribou Coffee from my Keurig. HEAVEN! The kids are still sleeping, so I'm also enjoying the silence of the day.

I don't really know where to start today. So much to do, so much to do...

I will be doing massive amounts of laundry today. It was interesting trying to track down socks for the kids yesterday. Yikes.

I have let the house go the last couple of days, so I can't see my kitchen counters nor my sink. So that will be first priority.

I need to plan for dd's 13th birthday party next weekend, and then get everything together for my taxes. I was so annoyed that one of my stock documents would not be available until February 15th. I thought they were supposed to get everything out by the 31st of January? Hmmmm...

I need to think of something fun for supper, too. I was watching Pioneer Woman Cooking, and she made a broccoli cheese soup that looked fabulous! I'll see what I've got.

I have been a nurse maid most of this week with a sick hubby and DD. So, today will be laundry and cooking. I will also be sewing dollclothes. (which I will be trying to sell soon).

Hi...my name is NOT Vanessa nor is my husband a Chad

Today has been spent trying right side up my days with nights. I can't shake this foggy head syndrome that comes with lack of sleep or severely interrupted sleep. Went to bed at regular time last night only to get 3 phone calls in the middle of the night - DH's work calling

It's been a snacking type day here, no chores done and vegging in jammies ALL DAY. Bedtime can't come soon enough.

Nope, the similarities end with us and our significant others. Although my youngest has named every doll she has had since the age of 3 "Sarah". Ha ha ha!

And Libby, you crack me up! Hope you feel better! I was very blah today as well. Watched lots of tv, and mixed in a few things like dishes, feeding my bottomless pits (a.k.a. the kids), and 2 loads of laundry.

Tomorrow will be better!

Libby: My day was lounging around doing nothing too until evening.

I did do my daily walk in the park for 1.5 hours this morning. Then put my nightgown back on and laid in bed and read and played on the internet.

Then I took a break from my lounging and cleaned the kitchen and made a grocery list/meal plan. This evening I went to 3 grocery stores getting everything I need and only bought 2 things off the list.

Frugally, I wore a hat in the house all day. Even with the heat on 70, I'm still always cold. Also read a library book and spent no money other than groceries.

Tomorrow I'm going to be cooking. Making raspberry/almond bread, whole wheat bread and baked pasta w/ mushrooms, peppers onions, veggie sausage and spinach for my dinners all week.

Also plan on doing some cleaning and making a lesson plan for the grant I'm in. I'm up for it as I did so little today.
