    Default Super Savings Saturday

Today I went shopping and bought all my meats on sale. Really good sales too We are raking up leaves to put in the compost pile (free compost, yea). And the kids are playing in a cheap $10 pool instead of us using gas to go into town. We will have leftovers for lunch. Thats all I can think of for now

    Anyone else checking this weekend?

We made a roast on the BBQ for Mother's day. What's so frugal about that, you ask? Well, it was on a two day meat sale @ 1.39/lb! Yahoo--cheaper than hamburger and the way DH makes it, it's true gourmet food. We fed six of us (our family plus in-laws) for about $10.00. It was only that much because DH HA to have chips and dip before dinner. If not for those, dinner would have been about $7.00.
