    Default Saving Saturday

Hi all! I know that most of you do this throughout the week, but the weekends are the only days that I can actually get through a to do list of things for the home. I have smaller to do lists for the weekdays, but smush it in after 4:30. So, I'm hoping that doing this on Saturdays might help me get things done that need to be done. Tomorrow is out of the question because I am throwing my sil a bridal shower. So, here goes.

Change sheets and make our bed
    Change sheets in dd's crib
Go to breakfast (Saturday morning tradition w/dh's family...the one un-frugality that I allow)
Laundry (I'm guessing there are about 4 loads to wash, 2 to dry after hanging clothes that I line dry, and all of them to put away)
Cleaning off the top of the computer desk and the surrounding "computer room"
    Sweep and vacuum whole house
    Empty dishwasher and clean counters

I'll stop there because I also have to get cards and decorations for the shower, and I'm shopping around for the cheapest stuff I can find. Who knows how long that will take!

I will be spending this weekend rather than saving unfortunately. However, it's "good" spending as I am going to get some sewing patterns from Joann's for $.99, and we are also getting my dds a swingset too.

Today I need to get ready for my older dd's 5th birthday party:

    *bake cake (done)
    *give kids baths (done)
*food shop for party and week
    *buy swingset
    *go to Joann's for patterns
    *weed garden
*put out summer umbrella on deck
    *get propane for grill
*wrap dd's gifts (after I find them--I hid them from her, and now I can't remember where I put them LOL!)
*steam clean rug in living room
*clean couch & loveseat with upholstery cleaner

Phew...I think that's it...is that enough? Maybe I can get dh to help with some (yeah, right after I light a fire under his butt! )
