I've been lazy as I didn't sleep well. I was trying to listen with one eye open for dd to come in late from a bachelorette party where she had to drive a long ways very late at nite. Sssooo I'm up now, reading the forums and thinking seriously about working out (wish I could get credit for pondering it ). Later I'll pick up around the house (again!), do a load of laundry (ditto) and pack for our few days away for our 30th anniversary. We have a wedding of a close family friend to attend this evening which will take from 5 pm on. Then tomorrow Gripey and I are outta here for a few days stay at a fav. hotel of our's. I can't wait!
What's up for you guys this weekend? Any big plans?

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*
DH and I have been doing some light cleaning this morning. I washed the slipcovers and have them outside drying. DH cleaned the bathrooms and emptied the trash. I vacuumed.
Our pastor's wife had surgery this week, so I am cooking a giant roast in the crockpot with some potatoes (our pastor is a carnevore ) and will be having cold pasta salad and corn muffins.
We need to run some errands and pick up new furniture. Well, its new to us. My dad and stepmom got new furniture and are passing theirs down to us. Its in good shape, but kind of unattractive, so We will be using a slipcover we have, and will be buying a slipcover for the loveseat.
Well, thats about it. Its a full day for us. I am looking forward to visiting with pastor and wife tonight and chilling at their house for a while.
So far today, one load of laundry washed and hanging out, gone to the library and fruit stand, cleaned up the kitchen, picked up the bedroom, watered the plants and outside plants, now I'm making coffee and getting ready to tackle round 2!

Paige is with her Grandparents (Joes parents) today. They meet me here at work and we switched the car seat and they were off to hit the town with her...lol
I was able to hit a yardsale today while working. A dance studio in the same strip as ours is moving across town and the owners and a few others are having a yard sale indoors so I ran down there between customers.
We did all our chores (I had thu/fri off so I did them) and today we are lying around being lazy. I am thinking of going to the local farmer's market and picking up some chicken salad and fruits for next week lunches because I will only have 30 min lunches and will need to take a lunch to work.
Just finished 4 loads of laundry since this morn. Straighten up around the house, I'll wait till tonite then scrub all the floors when everyones in bed.
Tomorrow at 9:00a.m. church( mostly seniors, I love it, kids act better). Then make lunch and laze around all day and watch t.v. or movies i got from libary.
I also borrowed "how to talk to teens , so they will listen" Boy do i need this book. Puberty!!! lol

I forgot DH had been up all night and we had plans for tonight, so we came home so he could get some sleep. We will be going to watch an arena football game tonight. DH's brother gave us 4 tickets.

It's not sunny here
It's chily & raining. The craft fair I was supposed to sell at today was rescheduled for July. It's a good thing because I'll have more time to make stuff for it. But it kind of stinks because I took the day off from work to do it.
The kids & I ran a few errands and met my mom for lunch. Now we are home & I feel a nap coming on It's just that kind of day.

Working in Orlando with Dh on a job site. We're trying to get the inside wood stained and sealed so the carpenter can spend the next week putting it up. Have been working on this job since Thursday but the rain has kept interupping us. Tommorrow we pick up new to us van and will pack it up to head out on Monday for a Thursday wedding in Ohio. Run, Run, run.
I'm looking forward to getting up north for a few days of visiting and slowing down. The wedding is for my pen pals daughter they are Old Order Amish so it should be very intresting.
Yesterday went yard saling with mom. THen today and tomorrow I will be watching my son and about 3 groups of his friends play in the Gusmacker ( it is a basketball event and they block the downtown to mark the roads and set the hoops up.) Today has been a long day but very rewarding. I got to relax and just watch and cheer.

Penny Jar: $13.04
Change Jar: $86.10
Today we used up a few coupons - that was the goal - so we went to Friendly's and had ice cream, and also to Best Buy to use the $10 reward certificate we used. Of course, after we left the store and got home DH noticed that they didn't take off the $10, so he will go down tomorrow and complain. We also went to a family gathering at my aunt's house, a party for all the family members with birthdays in May. The food was good, and I got a few belated birthday presents.
Tonight we're balancing the checkbooks - the biggest excitement being we finally got our refund from the state (I forgot the actually sign the return, so it was delayed a few months). We ended up using the money part to pay for childbirth classes, and probably the other part will end up on the Citibank payment two weeks from now.
Other than that, it is cold and rainy here. Tomorrow will mostly be cleaning (the floors REALLY need to be mopped and/or vacuumed!) and laundry.

Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)
Yesterday, DH picked up the stump grinder that we rented for the weekend. Then he ground down the roots of 4 big bushes that we'd cut down in the front yard.
Today we hit an early garage sale or two. (Someone was selling tools, but the ones DH needed were already sold before we got there -- and we arrived 10 minutes before the official start time.) I got Tupperware, though! One nice carrier for a veggie plate; a bread box; and a devilled egg keeper.
THEN, DH and the next door neighbor started grinding stumps. I assisted a bit ... bringing them drinks and clearing some of the underbrush out of their way. Between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m, they got rid of 6 large pine tree stumps and one bush. The guys were filthy ... and exhausted. But DH kept going in our back yard. He did 4 small stumps (dogwood, rose of Sharon). He finally finished at 8 p.m.
Tmorrow, church. After that, more bushes need their stumps ground down.
