Saving on Saturday

It is a pretty day here today, although it looks like some clouds are moving in. I need to get my clothes off the line before heading to work just in case.

I have to work this weekend, so I will only be doing the minimum housework. Dh and I are going grocery shopping today, so hopefully we won't overspend. He and I are also going to try to find us some new pants as well. We really need a pair.

my list for the day:
make bed
pick up
mail bills
grocery shop

Wish it was going to be a quite day here. I have 40# of peaches, 40# of pears and 2 huge pails of apples to can this weekend.

- going into the nearest city to do a major shopping so won't be too frugal there.

- need to get a bunch of tomatoes canned

- help dh with the addition on his workshop

Ugh, its going to be one of those crazy weekends.

Will try to make it fairly frugal here but I do have some shopping

*Walmart, Eckerd's, purchase a wedding gift
*water outdoor plants

I just woke up and it is 11:00am! Ugh! I stayed up way too late last night.

I need to get my house in order this weekend. I am not leaving to do anything, no garage sales, no swap meet, just focusing on the house.

I better go hop in the shower and get started!

This morning I went to work from 9-12. Came home and DH had started a load of laundry

Let me tell you, this is the first time in the 14 1/2 years we have been married that he has ever done this! I'm speechless.

Today I will just putter around doing small chores and try to relax. There's a race on tonight, so we will be watching that.

Put laundry away
fix curtain that baby pulled down
dishes
plan dinner
unclog toilet

spend 15 minutes in the basement-decluttering/cleaning
send out mystery shopping receipts
put September shops on the calendar
take trash out

Betsy I just woke up too at 11:30. I have no idea why I slept so long other than the fact that I was up til 1:30.

Today I am cleaning up my NEW house more!
Going to the library
tonight I am going to a friends house for girl's night. We are going to watch movies and eat pizza I think.

No big plans other than that.

This morning I went for a jog..I think I did about 4 miles...put away clean dishes..

Then I made a pancake breakfast..took a shower did my make up..
(had a fight with dh during breakfast, i'm really sensitive this time of the month)

I practiced drums, carl tried teaching me when to use the clash symbal (if that's the word for it?)
I also got together an envy of coupons and mailed it out..

Then for the rest of the day, I'd like to:

Tan
Go pick up some produce
Clean up the house..do a load of laundry if it's availiable..wash a load of dishes..
Clean ayla's room!
Iron some clothes
Take Ayla for a walk
Lift some weights
Put away some more coupons
Check the mail..
Look over my grocery list again, get all coupons out to match sales..
Watch a movie with dh..

Breakfast: Pancakes ..bowl of cereal
Dinner: hmm refried beans and a burrito with lettuce tomato and sourcream sounds good..and some rice...
