    Default Silly Saturday

Today is going to be silly for me because I think I'm goin on strike from housework... any of you ever do that? I just need a day off. Starting to feel like everyones maid.

But I won't be bored. We're going to the Minnesota State Fair today!!!! WooHoo! I love the fair.
So..... a not so frugal saturday here.

Hope everyone has a good Saturday!

Today we have already gone to breakfast at the diner. (Not frugal, but a tradition w/dh's family.) Then we hit 2 garage sales and got a free bike pump and a game for dd for .50. When she gets up from her nap, we are going to Home Depot to get a curtain rod for our curtains that I got from JCPenney (on sale) because we've lived here a year and the windows have been bare the whole time and I'm sick of it! Then, to our friends barbeque, so it's a pretty easy day.

Today I slept in and now I need to get ready and go to a friend's house for "Game Day." A bunch of us are getting together to play Triopoly.

Then I'll come home and eat dinner with DH.

I offered to help my friend tonight. She owns "My Gym" which is a play/fitness center for kids. She is having 40+ kids tonight for a special party. I thought it would be fun to go help out and play with the kids.

Then I plan to take care of my house tomorrow.

I am so glad it is a three-day weekend!

Good afternoon! This morning DH took us to the mall (the ONLY reason he goes with us is if they have a baseball card show). I got 2 pairs of jeans for DD2-not frugal-she wears "plus". They were on sale at least, but still expensive. Had lunch, again not frugal . I blew it today. I did get DD2 a pair of shoes for $.75. Yep, I said $.75! They were $1.00 and then 25% off. Go figure-I couldn't go wrong for that!

Tonight DH and I are going to try and go to dinner with some friends. The local Italian restaurant is calling our name. We'll get DD's to watch the baby so we can go.

I cleaned up the kitchen today, decluttered 1 cabinet, and did 1 load of wash. Not too bad.

    Have a great day!

We went to the state fair--not frugal! BUT, a friend won some tickets and she had two extra adult ones, so that brought the cost of getting in down to $8.00. We still managed to spend about $60 there. ACK! We came home and made dinner--krab salad wraps. Yum
