    Smile Super Saturday

    What is going on today?

I've noticed that all of the cussing at the knitting makes people around here sit up and take notice. I told dd to clean her room last night, she said "Okay, just don't yell those words at me"!

Today dd and I need to go to a birthday party, dh is working for part of the day, he alredy has 37 hours overtime this week! Then I need to stop and get dog food, we are out. Hope everyone has a great day.

Today I have a Product Demo to do at Publix Grocery - Dasani Flavored Water. After that I need to go to the library, go buy some Birthday Cards, do a small bit of housework, clip coupons for the Coupon Train and make something for dinner. Have a Great Day everyone!

It is raining off and on today. Supposed to go to a Arena football playoff game at 2 pm. I also need to get grocery shopping done, personal shopping done and get oil changing supplies for my vehicle. It will be busy. Have a fun day everyone.

We have a pretty busy day planned.

Drop DD off at her bf's house for a 8 hour birthday party. He is turning 15 and they are having a movie marathon party.

Take DS to Plato's Closet. My mom gave him some money and he wants to buy some clothes with it.

Go pick up a few shirts and a pair of capris for me. My mom gave me some money, too.

DH and a friend of his are going to finish our new floor - I hope.

See if I can find a new comforter for my bed. Mine is gettig old and out of style. I am embarrassed for anyone to see it.

Write a complaint letter. Mail it to the company and then post it on PlanetFeedback.com, TravelPost.com and a couple of other sites.

Wash my hair. I did not wash it yesterday and I feel yucky. If it is not washed on a daily basis I freak out. I have to wash it when I take my shower every morning and yesterday I was in a rush and did not. YUCK!!!

I need a new summertime flag for my front porch. Mine is outdated so I think I will go to A.C.Moore.

Gripey and I are at home today. The weather is cool and cloudy and a little drizzly.....really strange for this time of year. Anyway I don't have a lot planned. I may go for a walk in a few minutes and then shower, do hair and makeup. I think I have a couple loads of laundry to do but not that much else that I have to do today. Hope everyone has a great day!

I just got out of the shower. LOL I have to wash my hair every time too or I feel yucky.

I have a load in the washer. Will take it to the laundromat when it gets done to dry - need to put a new Avon book in there. I also need to clean out my car. Maybe return the antenna to Walmart - was trying to avoid getting Satellite tv, but I guess we really are too far from tv stations, even the highest powered antenna can't pick up local channels. Guess I will have to get the cheapest Dish or DirecTV subscription I can get - I think its like $24.99 per month with local channels. (In-laws are moving out soon, hopefully - I bought the house from them - they have DirecTV on here now).

Anyway, hope you all have a good day.

So far this morning I have dressed, washed my hair, have a load of laundry in and have talked to my husband who is in China for 3 or 4 weeks. I also have my crockpot going to reheat a new recipe that I am trying. I cooked it yesterday and I have a picnic to go to this afternoon and I am bringing it for a trial run. I like to make certain things a day ahead to let the seasonings work through and then reheat the next day. I love the warming feature on my new crockpot. It also has a temperature probe. I have to gather the rest of the stuff I am taking to the picnic and load that into my car. It is a beautiful day here and is suppose to only get up in the mid 70's with a nice breeze. Have a good weekend girls. If the recipe turns out good I will let you know the ingredients.

    Good Morning from Possum Point

Looks like we got another hot one here. DH off to work, critters fed and watered, gardens picked and watered since we didn't get any rain again yesterday. I gotta call the forestry and get a burn permit for this afternoon so I can start the burn barrel. I want to burn some small dry limbs and junk mail that's collecting since my shredder quit on me. Also gotta run into town to buy 2-3 gallons white vinegar and pickling spice so's I can put up peppers. I forgot to add it to my grocery list (dang it) last time.

DH just called and he has to work all day. Usually, when he goes in at 6 am, he gets off at 2 pmm but today, he's not sure what time he will get home.

I've enjoyed a lazy morning, but it's time to get busy!

    So far I have already:
    - sorted laundry
    - washed & dried the first load
    - updated my blog
    - fed everyone
    - bathed DD and showered myself

    I need to:
    ~ bathe DS
~ take DS to get his one-year pictures taken at 12:30
~ go in to work for a short period... I forgot to sign some paperwork that's due on Monday morning
    ~ get gas
    ~ clean out the car
~ keep going with the laundry-- need to get caught up

Nothing too exciting... Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope the weather is going to stay like this for the rest of the day....sunny! We have a chance for rain, but we are still trying to dry out. We still have several road closures from rivers running over the roadways. So I am praying for the sun!!

I need to do a load of laundry and start packing. I printed out all the directions we should need for our vacation. I talked to DS#1 this morning and he said he would be looking for us. They have color gaurd this week so he will have to be on post in the morning to raise the flag and by 8:30 to lower the flag. So I guess we will visit him in between all his running around.

I completed all my algebra assignments that were due by July 4th. The next set is due by July 27th. I wanted to finish before we left for vacation because I didn't want to worry about homework. I can do it if I want, but I don't have too. The next set is not as long as this set was, so it shouldn't take as long to complete. YEAH!

Today started EARLY! This is the first chance I've had to get on the computer beyond printing out driving directions.

First I went to a community yard sale, got clothes for the boys, some books, pepper grinder, and a bookshelf. Then dh & I drove to an estate auction...I got some more knitting stuff CHEAP! and dh got some old toys for a steal.

Now I'm home, I thought the kids would want to play outside, but the boys are playing so nicely upstairs I don't want to tempt fate I do still have some clothes to hang out and I need to make dinner. Maybe after dinner they will want to go outside. They have this whistle lollipops they can't have in the house...

Got up early this morning and went to pick up a new patio set for the back terrace- found some neat cushions as well. Hit a few garage sales on the way back, but it was so rainy and yucky that we decided to head on home. The rest of the evening will be spent relaxing.
