    Default Super Saturday

Morning all! It is cold cold cold here. We have some sort of artic blast of cold air. Not too much snow, but it is windy.

Just wondering what everyone is up to today?

    We have a busy day:
DD has to go to religion to practice and interview for her first Confession, then DD and DS have basketball games.. and its picture day.
We have a college bball game to go to tonight.. DH and I have season tickets..our Christmas present. Of course DH is out of town until this afternoon so we can't split the tasks.

In between I am hoping to
~get a bunch of laundry done
~ vacuum up after my "bumpus" dogs
~ clean up the living room
    ~ empty my dishwasher

Maybe if I get inspired, I might try to get to Walmart. I have a few cards to get and I need some candy for my classroom.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

I've been to the grocery store already this a.m. to avoid the payday crowds.

Got to do laundry, general cleanup, schoolwork (lesson plans for next week), and I really want to get the Christmas tree up tonight.

It snowed a lot last night, they are plowing the apt. complex I live in right now. It's not snowing at the moment though and we have to drive 3 hours round trip to a birthday party today, so I hope we don't have any more snow! We are going to Target to pick up a second cat carrier (we have 2 cats and one carrier and both are going to the vet in 2 weeks for their annual exam). We need to buy a birthday card too and I have a few things to pick up for a gift for a child off our Christmas Tree at work.

Other things I hope to accomplish today: organize the paper mess on my desk and figure out a better way to not have this keep happening to me. Then wash a load or two of laundry and make a grocery shopping list and either shop tonight or Sunday evening.

~I sent DH out an hour ago to pick up some things at Aldi, Target and ToysRUs. Then I'm going out to get things at Pathmark, Acme, Shoprite, Lowes and Bath and Body Works. Totally forgot about it being Dec 1 so it's gonna be mega crowded in town, drat! This afternoon I plan on taking it easy and sewing. And maybe making apple butter!~

Mmmm...apple butter sounds nummy but I cant remember if I've had it and if I liked it? LOL

So far this am, I have doing some pretty serious purging - clothes for donation (yet to bag so I dont know how many) and 2 boxes of clutter for me and treasures for someone else. I also rearranged my room - myself this am - and think I have either overdone it or gently pulled something in my back...so now Im taking a break and sitting here enjoying my cup of coffee.

All thats left to do is put the items back where they belong now that furniture has been moved and try to declutter some more. Oh yeah, laundry too - got a 2 loads going so far.

Busy day - I think I may stay in all weekend as (1) no money LOL or I just dont want to spend any (2) I need to purge/declutter (3) its supposed to snow and we're warned of a huge winter storm this evening - the one coming from out west??

So far I've dressed, made bed, shoveled snow, walked to the po (boy was it cold, wind driven snow) & brought wood in the house. My job for the rest of the day is to keep the fire going, get more wood, vacuum, read, work on jigsaw puzzle & make dinner.
    Have a great day All!

    It's still overcast/rainy here - and chilly.

I am making breakfast now. On the agenda:

    - take digital cable box back to Cox (cut our cable bill)
    - stop by DBF's work for some paperwork so that he can apply for another position that just opened (50% pay increase)
    - clean up apartment
    - meal plan for the week and get a list together
    - grocery shop later tonight
    - re-work Dec. budget (maybe - I have an idea)
    - read forums
    - watch a show or two that we have taped
    - make dinner

That's it! Have a great day everyone.

This morning, I braved the ice and snow to go to a women's meeting. It was a lot of fun, but I was glad some one else was driving.
Now I am home and ready to decorate for Christmas. My DH is home today and our evening plans have been canceled due to the weather. That leaves the day to decorate for Christmas and enjoy each others company.

I'm cooking meals for the week and baking. I also have to clean and do laundry. It's grey and dreary here so I'm just chilling inside.

    Super cold here.

I've been cleaning all morning. I got the office & living room in order. No small feat w/ dh's box collection in the office, the kids markers/artwork in the living room, plus my yarn corner

One dd is doing the dining room the other is doing the mudroom. The boys have been my gophers all morning. The only things I have left to do are my bedroom, bathroom, & kitchen. I was waiting until after lunch because the kids always trash the kitchen at lunch

Later I'm getting out my snowmen, outside wreath, and nativity scene. I need to find the kids' advent calendars & get them out too.

Later dh & I are going to Target for cat litter and a little Christmas shopping. We were going to do it tomorrow but that storm is expected to be here by then.
