Default Sensational Saturday, what's up today?

Big day for our family~ dd, mil & our cats birthday today. Birthday girls are busy today so we'll have a party tomorrow. To celebrate my cats 14th b'day he'll get some tuna water later & just now I let him stay and sleep in my computer chair & didn't kick him out.

I have laundry going and need to make a lasagna for tomorrow. Not sure what's for dinner tonight. Need to pick up the house too. Woohoo, fun city!
Wishing you all a great day!

It's sunny out here today, but still really cold...burrrrr. I think I need to have a hot cup of cocoa this morning. I have to wrap my mother's birthday present, we are taking her out to dinner tonight for her birthday celebration .

I need to get some chores done before I leave this afternoon: create a weekly menu and make a grocery list, clean the kitchen, scoop the kitty litter box, and maybe wash a load or two of laundry.

This weekend we don't have a lot going on. As DD7 says, "Can we just BE today?" (Meaning play and goof around and do diddly squat!)

I am doing a few loads of laundry. I have some grocery shopping to do later, and I will start the weekly cooking this afternoon. The house is relatively clean, so this will be a relaxing weekend!

Errands, errands, and did I mention errands? We're running to: the post office, library, Sam's, my parents' house to pick up some paperwork, the bank , and the cable company to replace our broken remote. That doesn't look like such a long list when I write it out, but with two little ones and two carseats, trust me, it seems much longer!

After all of that the kids and I will hopefully have a little "down time" this afternoon-- they were both up extra early this morning.

Happy Birthday to all Have a wonderful day.

As for me, it is a special day, I am putting $800 into my savings account, then come back home and clean out the back patio area since the weather is nicer.

Sweep and mop the hardwood floors, straighten up the house a bit and do some re-decorating downstairs (living room and dining room) and open the blinds to let the light shine in!

Sounds like a busy day!!! Tell all those with birthdays to have a happy one!! My grandson spent the night last night and today I am taking him to get a new pair of shoes. My granddaughter will spend the night tonight, but she doesn't need shoes so we'll just be hanging out.

Have fun celebrating bd's Darlene. If I know you, you will (Tell Nick happy bd from me )

Gripey and I are just hanging out today. I'm gonna do a couple of loads of laundry, put them away, workout, cook some chicken and noodles and banana puddin' for a friend who had surgery and has to eat soft foods for a few days. (I'm sure Gripey and dad will get some....I'm eating salad) We are dog sitting for dd and since the dog is an 80 lb. boxer, she's occupying most of our time and attention.... (she's a house dog.....)

Hope everyone has a great day!

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

It's so nice of you to watch your daughters dog.

Today it's raining so our yard work plans are out the window (which is find because I didn't want to do that anyway ) DH is still asleep so I'm drinking my coffee with FV.

This afternoon we have a family get together with DH's family to celebrate his brother coming home from Iraq. We will spend most of the afternoon there and probably just hang around the house this evening.

Sounds like you all have a great day planned! I've got laundry going and made a batch of cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then I'm sanding and painting a wall. And cleaning!

We're expecting 2-3 inches of rain today, which should break the record rainfall for March here in Missouri. hooray.........

    Happy Saturday.

Threw a brisket into the crockpot as soon as I got up today. Took walk, washed floors, cleaned cat litter box. Need to organize livingroom closet. The rest of the day is relaxing and look over seed packets.
