Default Saturday, April 5 What's Happening?

Today is a mega cleaning day for me. Laundry, sweeping, dusting, bathrooms, windows, porch, etc. We are listing the house to sell on Monday and the agent will be taking pictures, so gotta be clean!

Also baking cupcakes for a church dinner tomorrow. And I'm getting ready for company to come Monday for several days.

I'm staining a room divider as soon as it warms up outside. Also need to pick up sticks in the yard. And we are planting a rose bush for a friend whose wife died this winter. It's our memorial gift to him.

But it's sunny out! And that gives me energy!

Wow, good luck tackling all of that! It sounds like you have your hands full today! I pulled something in my lower back, so I am moving a little slower this morning. Still moving, of course, because of the never-ending demands of the children! Lol. I have to go grocery shopping this afternoon, but beyond that, I am playing it by ear. I went thru and sorted my coupons last night to help with my shopping, so we'll see what I can come up with. Have a great day, everyone!

It's kind of cloudy and dreary outside today. Today will be general cleaning and picking up of the apartment. I need to feather dust/cloth dust furniture, scoop kitty litter, vacuum, clean the kitchen counters and the sink, sweep floors, mop the bathroom and the kitchen floors, scrub the bathroom clean, water my houseplants, and wash 4 1/2 loads of laundry. I am giving myself 4 hours to complete these chores.

I need to menu plan for the week and set up a shopping list based on what we already have and what I still need to buy. I'll try to match some coupons to items on our list. Then we will go out for an early dinner (using gift cards to Olive Garden), grocery shop and pick up my prescription and some stamps to mail some bills. Later tonight we'll watch a rented movie or I'll read before going to bed.

    Laundry, laundry and more laundry!

Then, tonight my parents are babysitting so dh and I can go out to dinner and see our nephew in his high school play. He goes to the school for Visual and Performing Arts and they are putting on Aida, so it should be good!

Not a whole lot. The house is picked up, vacuumed, dishes are done. The boys & I planted some flower seeds. The sun is peeking out, but the wind is a little chilly. I may take them outside later.

Went shopping again. UUUHHH they had reams of printer paper for $2.50 so I bought two. Yea, that is the reason I spent so much more at the store. : ) So pretty much with all the shopping I have done so far I am pretty much banned from further shopping this month except for groceries.

Still need to sweep and mop the floors. Other than that pretty slow going around here.

Let's see...couldn't sleep in, so out of bed at 645am (why is that?). Did a little cleanup around the house, laundry, took DD#1 to work, took DD#2 to baton practice. Dragged the boys out of bed, and had them do a few chores. Will be picking up DD#1 soon from work, and then taking DD#2 to her last Winterguard competition of the season! We'll be home around 1030pm tonight! But, for now, I have a bit of peace, and will either read or scrapbook. I'm tired!
    Enjoy your day!
Bought my new oven 1/08 and loving it!

just did a 3 mil bike ride with my son and now I am taking him to the "scratch and dent" grocery store. He needs to go to the grocery store with me for a boy scout section, and I figure that store would be a good way to show him the value of stretching your dollar.
    oh, and it's SUNNY OUTSIDE!!!

Today was DS#2's district wide track meet, so we have been there since 11 this morning until around 5pm. I came home to finish up dinner that was in the crockpot and to do some laundry. DS#3 pulled out the lawn mower and has been mowing. He is such a wonderful kid! DH had to work 12 hours today so he missed the track meet.....he will be at work for another hour. I guess I will clean the house tomorrow.
