Scrapbooking....New love

I have always done scrapbooking pages ever since my dd was born but since I did not have a dedicated "craft" room or area, I was starting to get further and further behind. It is just so much effort to get everything out get a bit done and then have to put it up.

Sooooo, we bought the Scrapbook Factory Deluxe for our computer a couple of months ago. I guess I have been intimidated by it cause I was not using it. Well, my dh has played around with it and made several beautiful scrapbook pages. Last night he asked me if I wanted to learn. YES, YES, YES. So, we ended up doing 3 (yes, you heard right) three pages. He walked me through everything. I LOVE IT!!!!! OMG...anyway, I did two more pages this morning by myself!! I can now see a light at the end of the tunnel....I am so far behind but I know I can get caught up again.

I will still do some home-made pages but these computer scrapbooking pages are sooooo nice and fast and just wonderful (very professional looking).

I know that I need to try the digital scrapping thing, but I just the process so much doing it the "old fashioned" way. Nice to hear about a good program, cause eventually I'll have to try it, I'm sure!

I too would like to see a page you have done.

I have that exact program at home and have never used it!

I personally like the old fashioned way because my sister and I get together for a weekend and scrap/talk and let the kids play. It is always fun doing it with her and we make such great memories together.

ok ladies, we need to share our pages. if can get my act in gear, I'll take a photo of some of my favourite pages and upload them.....if I get it started, you all have to follow suit!

Yes, I will try to do that in the next day or so (of course I need help from my dh cause I don't know how to put a picture on here)

I have done one digi layout using some free software online. I liked it, but that program didn't do a lot of the things I wanted it to. I will check this one out!

I've never tried Digital Scrapping...I have way tooo much stuff to use up and I really enjoy working with my hands and playing with all my stuff. Plus, I'm in front of the computer at work all day from 8 to 5 and I have no desire to get on it at home. All that said, I LOVE DIGITAL LAYOUTS!!! I frequent different sites online where people post their work and they make some really snazzy stuff with digital programs.

I'm all about posting some layouts...I'll have to take some pics!

we just moved into our first house and i have NO SPACE anywhere to set up and get out all of my scrapbooking stuff, so i'm behind on BOTH of my childres books

i'm glad u found software that you love
