Uh-oh. Temptation...
I'm a rubber stamper, and I just got an email with the list of retiring Stampin Up stamps. I've been good so far, I have wayyyyy to many stamps and nowhere to put them or anymore, so I haven't bout any for 2 or 3 months. But these, they're not going to be around anymore...
What's that new word I've been trying to teach myself: "No!"

Do you have any rubber stamping friends that you can "trade" with? That might help you feel less deprived and save all of you some money.

I know how you feel. Worse case scenario, you can always find them on Ebay later.

Ya, probably. But then, she goes to the stamping club I was in (you know that's so you buy more stamps and stuff), and will maybe ask why I haven't gone...
Let that temptation source slip by 1 month, then the next month... so I hope to keep this "absent mindedness" of mine up.

I can't give any advice...I find it VERY hard to pass up scrapbook supplies, and if it's on clearance, it usually ends up in my cart!

Well, try not to look, lol, but if you must and if you MUST buy, try to stick to a theme that you are sure you will use more than once, otherwise, it's hoarding, lol. I have hoarded a lot of fabric until I learned to stick to theme and have not bought any for a VERY long time.

I'm a fellow stamping addict so I totally understand. I was reading the SU retirement list today on a blog and stopped myself just short of pulling out my catty to look up those sets.
There's always eBay, and, I belong to a stamping site that does a lot of image swaps. There are also a lot of people there who trade whole stamp sets. So... my point is that you will still have opportunities to get those images later if you really want them. Hang in there!

I agree that you will be able to find these later on, you have to resist the temptation, lol I know it's hard as I love Primitives but I havent bought anything for a while now and I feel good!

Oh, hon, I feel ya! I've got piles of stamps that haven't even been used, I had to stop getting the SU catty altogether.

I used to sell SU. I had to quit because I was spending all my "profit" on more stamps. Some I have still, to this day never used!

LOVE SU stamps!! They are too tempting!! Fortunatly I have a friend who is a spendthrift who I swap stamp sets with. Otherwise, I'd be in trouble!
