Thumbs up AWESOME book for card making

Dd and I love making cards. I picked this book up at the library and it's definitely now on my "wants" list.

The Encyclopedia of Greeting Card Tools & Techniques by Susan Pickering Rothamel.

It has a wealth of information in it, along with a topic on every letter of the alphabet. It also has all the holidays around the world and quotes and sentiments for the following:

    Valentine's Day
    Chinese New Year
    St. Patrick's Day
    Passover
    Easter
    Earth Day
    Cinco De Mayo
    Mother's Day
    Father's Day
    Independance Day
    Halloween
    Thanksgiving
    Winter
    Chanukkah
    Christmas
    Angels
    Love & Wedding

    and more.....

It's a 2008 book and one I am definitely going to purchase. I'll wait until I can get a 50% off coupon at Michael's.

I need a book like that. I will have to check and see if the library has it so I can look it over. Thanks.

Amazon.com has it for sale for as low as $9.86 (+ $3.99 s/h) for a very good used copy. Also saw a new copy for $10 something.

Thanks Madhen, however I don't have cc. For anyone else wanting to get it, it is well worth the price Amazon is asking. It has a wealth of info in it.

I have a debit card tied to my bank account, so I use that as my "credit card." Just checked and they don't take checks or money orders. Bummer.

It was also on eBay, however, for $10.85 for a new copy. So you could probably use MO or PayPal for it there.
