Starting a scrapbooking project~
I have never been a scrapbooker. I am uber creative, but more in the area's of sewing, painting, etc.
But my brother is getting married in September, and I am putting together a collective scrapbook of his and his fiances lives. I am planning on getting coordinating pictures of both of them and each having a seperate page facing each other (both at birth, first day of kindergarten, etc) up until they join their lives together. I of course, will leave pages at the end for wedding photos, babies (later on) and other things!
I'm really looking forward to it. My mom brought up all of our old photo albums and photo boxes last night and I have been digging through them! It is too much fun!
The funny thing was, I had a photo of DH's high school graduation in there (we were friends through high school, but didn't start dating until college). He thought it was funny that somehow, he had ended up in our family album, long before he was family! It was kind of neat!
So, as I embark on this project, I'm sure I'll be back here asking advice from all of you seasoned scrapbookers!

Awesome idea, and just remember there is no right or wrong way to do scrapbooking. You will do great, and with the idea you have you will really have fun doing it.

I find myself debating now. When I got married, I made books for all my bridesmaids. It was a kit that I purchased, then I included the photos, captions and whatever I wanted to include, then mailed it off to the company and they published to books for my friends. They were beautiful.
I am debating on wether or not to do a handmade scrapbook or a published book for them! I'd have to see if I can still find the kits, anyways!
