I am craft-impaired and need help!!!
Help!
I'm graduating from college next month, thirty six years after I finished high school, and would like to make some announcements. The cost of announcements from the school was outrageous.
Here's the Problem, I'm NOT a craft person, but do have access to some basic scrapbooking supplies.
Any ideas or resources would be appreciated.

There are a number of websites which allow you to personalize and print free greeting cards and announcements. I would cruise through those and look for something suitable. You can print them on your own paper.
Or you can use them for ideas when creating your own announcements. I'm sure you know the basics of a word processing program and can type a few appropriate lines to print out. You can glue a plain white printed announcement to a fancy scrapbooking paper and embellish it.Use it up, Wear it out,

I very simple design is to pick one solid color cardstock, a print scrapbooking paper, and vellum. Type your invite into word and print onto vellum. Cut the cardstock in half, cut the print sb paper one inch shorter than the cardstock on all sides, center onto the cardstock. Place the vellum on top. I hope that made sense. Oh and using a hole punch add ribbon to the top.

If you have a Micheal's near you go there. They carry basic plain white announcement cards in packs of 50 in their wedding area. Find an invite on one of the sites previously listed and go at it. Remember plain and elegant! The card stock is good quaility and the message is wonderful.
If you don't have a Micheals Walmart also carries these in its wedding area also.
Have fun!
