Default What are you scrapbooking right now?

What are you scrapbooking right now?

I am working on my husbands childhood photos and different things that I have found that was saved from his younger days.

I found someone old awards, ribbons and report cards to go along with the pictures.

Would love to know what others are doing?

I just started on the book I am making for my husband. I didn't do much scrapbooking over the winter time. Not sure why... other then just being lazy about it..lol. I am hoping by the end of summer to have all the photos I currently have scrapbooked. I have about 10 shoe boxes filled with photos. So I need to get busy.

Nothing - unfortunately!! All I am doing is sewing - but I am saving scraps to use when I get to working on my scrapbooks. My first one is definitely my DD's scrapbook of her life - she is turning 24 this June, so I think that it is about time!!

Mahalo for posting - keep it up and we will eventually gt going!!

*One book each from our last 6 trips to Disney
*One book each from DS's last two all-star baseball seasons
    *DD's volleyball book
    *DD and DS's basketball books
*A general book I always am adding miscellaneous snapshots to
*I am always adding to the kids school years scrapbooks.

Am planning on starting on a book with DH's parents' wedding pictures and one for my parents' wedding pictures.

I have to have several going at once. I am easily bored with just one or two.

    Mauimagic,
I am the same way, I saved all my scraps from sewing and almost all my paper scraps for my scrapbooking. I can sew, well kinda. It's still a learning process for me. I am making a patch work quilt for my mom right now out of old baby clothes she saved from when me and my sibling was little. I have gotten somewhat good at making taggy blankets for friends and family members. I hope to learn more about sewing.

    Neeley,

Wow! You have lots going on! I work on a scrapbook for a little while then sometimes switch. I then work on another one and fo back and fourth. I sometimes find it hard to do theme books... like just of vacation or so on. I do really well with scrapbooks I just do for the season because then I have more of a variety to work with.
I got all my husband photos and stuff I wanted to add to the book together in a box and have made a goal to have it finished by the end of the month. I did 9 pages last night after I got home.... which is why I am so tired today. I stayed up till 1 am scrapbooking and then have to get up for work at 4:30 am. I will upload some pages it I can figure out how.
Have a wonderful day and get scrappy with it

We have a second living room I have converted to my craft room. I've taken two dressers the kids outgrew and an armoire to store all of my craft supplies and works in progress. I use the sturdy plastic bags that pillow cases and curtains come in to store the supplies specific for each individual project. I like these bags because they have little hangers made into them. I can hang them up and easily see what is in each bag. They are the perfect size for stickers, ribbons, and most everything I use on my pages except the 12x12 papers. Those are in a Rubbermaid 6 drawer thingy. All of my supplies that are not specific to a project, like things I bought because they were on clearance, cute or I knew I would have to have later, are stored in the Rubbermaid thingy or in the dresser drawers. The armoire keeps things like my stamps, paper punches, straight edge cutter, scissors, pens, circle cutter, large spools of ribbons, etc...

I paint and do other crafts too. The majority of those supplies are also in the dressers. Large items, or items I have a lot of, like these cute paper mache "bags" I bought for $0.10 each and wooden unpainted snowflake hooks are stored in the large Rubbermaid plastic containers and hidden away (they are an eyesore)

I have around 4K pictures printed, but still have at least another 6K to print. The printed ones are organized according to event in several photo albums that each hold 500 4x6 photos.

I keep the scrapbooks themselves on top of the dressers.

I do my actual scrap booking work on a medium sized rectangle fold out table. It's really ugly so I keep it folded up and put away until I am working. I could use a larger one, but I am too cheap to buy one.

Neeley you sure are organized! I bought a buffet from the Thrift store last year for 80.00 it really was a splurge for me to spend that at a thrift store, but they did want a lot more and I even talked them down from there. I don't have a dedicated craft room anymore. That has been turned into a pantry of sorts. The buffet is right next to the dining room table and that is the largest area to lay everything out so it work out great.

I have several pages that I need to start working on and I guess the album I really shoud work on is my sons who is newly engaged and I could/should work on and finish it as a gift.

I wish I had a room just for crafts. I had all stuff stored in a closet then pull it all out on the kitchen table then put it up when I am done. If I didn't have to take everything out and put it away every time I would get more done.

I know exactly what you mean. Before I had my craft room, I was the same way. It was such a pain to get it all out and then have to put it all away. I would go months without doing a thing and got very little accomplished.
