Default What are your top 5 memories to scrap for the holidays?

    I like to scrap

    1. Bits and pieces of office parties. I save business cards of resturaunts, invites, if there is confetti, i save a little bit of that too, I have a pic of DH and I dressed up. If there are gifts given i save wrapping from it, etc

    2. pics of the first snowfall.

    3. pics of the kids around the tree. I have a great one where ds was sitting just staring at the tree last year as he watched the lights twinkle in the ornaments. I love that pic.

    4. scraps of Christmas Morning/day. i print up a menu of the meal i bake and save that, I take a pic of the table, save scraps of the wrapping papers, gift tags, pics of the kids and them opening presents.

    5. Pics of the kids napping after the presents and meal. Ds likes to curl up with dh after holiday dinners on the couch, they looks so much alike in their sleep.

I know I said 5 things, but i like to save non scrapbooking items too...like a preserved branch from our tree, pinecones (this year we have lots of em on our tree), I like to video tape things too, like when the kids first see the tree in the morning and when they see evidence of santas visit.

What kinds of memories do you like to preserve??

1 ~ I like to take at least one good picture of all our cards that we've received in whatever medium I've chosen to save them in - this year it's the "Christmas Tree Shape" on the back of the door.....

2 ~ One picture of all the kiddos in front of the tree - pre-Christmas morning!

3 ~ At least one picture (hear me GW!! at least one!!) of each of the kiddos opening a gift!

4 ~ a pic of each kiddo with their favorite gift...

    5 ~ a pic of the "aftermath/fallout"

6 ~ pics of the kids either in a new outfit or playing with a new toy or something to that effect....

7 ~ me in my santa hat or antlers - whichever "flavor" I choose for that year!

8 ~ a picture of whomever falls asleep first!

9 ~ a picture of this huge monstrous tree sitting in my front yard! (my favorite!)

More than 5, I realize, but can I get graces since we have a ton of kids?!
