That's very nice, Melissa! I'm intrigued...it's just a page you took out of an old book?...or you leave it in the book?

you leave it in the book. i tore the page and adhered a new page to the torn page. (the one that says "i love you, i love you, i love you wasn't origionally in the book, i attatched it to a torn page still in the book) then i attatched envelopes to the "new" page. I made little tage with simple one word sayings on them to slide into the envelopes. The pages of the book are left in the book, or torn, or colored, stamped or stickered, so on to decorate the pages as artfully as the creator of the altered book would like. Anything goes! you can tear out pages, stick new ones in, cover pages, whatever you like. the whole book becomes a work of art and a personal expression of creativity. It can be as subdued or as funky as you like.

    lots of fun.

Wow!....so you change as many pages as you want, to make it a special book....?.....now that is so original! I'd love to try to make one...

Are you making this book for someone? or for you?...
