    Default Question about Scrapbooking

I am really a dummy about this whole thing. I've read the tututorials and they are helpful but I still have some questions. I hope ya'll don't think these are stupid questions. Please be patient with me. I've purchased this nice sheets of paper with pretty designs on them that I think I would like to use in a scrapbook. These papers are filmsy. Do I mount the photos on this paper or is the decorative papers glued to a heavier, sturdier paper like cardstock?

usually these are mounted to a cardstock then placed in a scrapbook (once your page is finished, with your pics, journalling, embellishments, etc)

alot of scrappers like to use one piece of cardstock, mount a "page" on either side and once finished with the scrapping on either side, then slide the paper covered cardstock in a sleeve. one cardstock decorated on either side. I prefer the single side method, that way I can move single pages around in my books, an not have to remove the scrapping from the back side as one would have to if they did double sided method.

Another question: How do you mount it to the cardstock? Do you use glue or do you tape it?

I like to use hermafix. It is a roll-on type of tape adhesive. It has the sticky stuff from tape with out the plastic backing. But there are several adhesive choices on the market that are photo safe and archival. look around at glue sticks, look for ones that ARE photo safe and/or archival. It is important to keep your photos from deteriorating. Hermafix is my favorite.

Can I get Hermafix at Walmart or do I need to go somewhere like Hobby Lobby or Michaels?

    Thanks for all your help!
